Looking for someone to be your "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" is a waste of time at the age where you're supposed to be gaining an education to get you somewhere in life. Boyfriends and Girlfriends are just drama waiting to happen. You'll get in over your head, and you'll become one of the next people affected by "Popularity". Don't do it. HUGE waste of time. When you complete your educational life, THEN you start looking for whatever you want.
