It alll happened when H.i.t.l.e.r became leader of Germany in 1933 (?). He violated the Treaty of Versailies by building up the German military. He wanted the Port Of Danzig from Poland. They declined.
Near the border german troops dressed as Polish attacked a radio station in Germany. H.i.t.l.e.r used this as a reason to invade. France and Great Britian declared war as German troops spilled into Poland.
You are one of the Polish or German troops in this period of the war.

When Adrian got old enough to join the military he followed in his father's footsteps, becoming a soldier. At first it wasen't what he expected. I was riding on the side of a Panzer 3 tank heading into Poland. We were heading towards a town occupied by the Polish. They had trenches and a few AT guns there.
Some "Stuka" dive bombers flew overhead towards the said town. |

I walked along side the tank, pondering who would be dead, or wounded, or come out alive and unharmed. It was cruel to the back of my head, however, this was one of the only things to prevent boredom. I have learned in the war that one does not fight the enemy, but fights with death. People go to war and never come back. As easy as that. |

Germans plane flew over us.They're invasion was beginning.We were in defensive positions.Recon reported many enemies coming.We would defend with little we had.I was hiding in a few trees with the rest of my squad.I knew they've would be here soon.I got in a nice spot waiting for them to pass by.I thought about my parents death.Things happen,anything happens.Everyone dies one day I know I will to. |

The tanks Adrian was with advanced towards the town past some trees. Adrian jumped off the tank and took cover behind a hill. He set up his MG-34 and fired at the Polish soldiers. |

As I wrote down the men of my platoon, I began to put many of their personalities and traits to decide who needs the medic the most. Adrian would lay down suppressing fire as support, so he needed nothing. Nevertheless, I wrote beside his name 'wounded/alive,' as shrapnel is spontaneous. Now down to Paul.. |

I was shook awake by the gunfire and quickly dived into a ditch to the right side of the rode. "GET OFF THE ROAD!" I yelled as I crouched up with courage but caution, signalling off the road. |

2 of our tanks were hit. A few Panzer 2's drove by and attacked the AT guns. Adrian fired at several Polish troops in the trenches. |
