I finished the course multiple times in less than 35 seconds, and what do you know, no badge! Is it because I hit one of the red bricks at the end? I know I didn't die from that, so I don't know...

Its 30 seconds. I finished it on 15 seconds, multiple times. And yes, thats possible.
