Since Visual Basic was invented by Microsoft and was coded in probably C++ that means it's way more powerful than C++ itself.

All of you will bow to the power of binary.

@ArceusInator I'm fluent in binary. You jelly?

Going by your logic, is the baby bird who hatched from the mommy bird better at being a bird than the mommy bird?

@OBF Yeah. Every generation is smarter than the previous.

I don't think birds are smart at all. Wait while I think of a better example.

Can't think of one. But your logic is flawed. VB is a higher level language, C++ is a lower one.

Exactly. C++ is lower than VB. VB is a far higher and more advanced language.

It takes longer at some point in the process of getting it to run. It also has less ways to do certain tasks because it is restricted only to ways that are allowed by the language it's written in allows. The language it's written can do what it can do, but in more ways, and possible in better ways.

That's not what higher/lower in programming means. Everything you can do in VB you can do in C++, more efficiently. You can probably do more too.

Nope. You are all wrong and making things up and you know it so I'm leaving you to argue with yourselves idiots f()aggots.

You must not understand the term of higher-level and lower-level languages. Higher-level languages are more powerful and hove more ways of doing things. Lower-level languages mean they are written in other languages, and may take longer in the process of getting it in a running state, or running it. The fastest way of doing things is in the lowest-level language. The slowest is in the highest-level language.

I don't think any of my friends is smarter than their parents. This generation is pretty much more stupid than the last one...

A higher level language means it's closer to English. Therefore yes, technically, it is more advanced, but in a way that means you have to use more words to get things done.

Hehehe... Thanks to Xcode I can make myself look like a genius, programming in assembly. Xcode can convert C++ to assembly =) Anyway, following your logic, Lua is more powerful than binary. Efficiency ≠ Power.

On a different topic, my favorite language is Ook! (That is a real programming language - google it!)

This ish kind of like the fancy not true statements that teh creation can be just as clever as its creator (lol noobs, they didnt think of AI's!) If you can do thing A in a high level language, you can do it in the language the high level language was created in too, always. The way to do it in the low level language if no other way works is to recreate the higher level language and give it the code wich does what you want. Technically its still the lower level language wich computes it xD
