Before I start, I don't know how many of you have seen the ROBLOX app. If you have, you will know that it is very basic, and all you can do is check money, message people, and see your friends and send requests. The app needs a major update. I have a few ways in which the ROBLOX app could be improved.
My first suggestion is that we should be able to 'Buy BC as an 'In-App Purchase'. I think that it is a good idea because more people would get BC, and it would be easier for people in places like the UK to get BC without using credit cards on the ROBLOX website.
Another idea I have is a fourm on the app. This would be good because it would make fourming on iPhones/iPods easier, as I and many other people I know find fourming hard on Safari.
The catalog would also be useful on the ROBLOX app, as if you are a 'Limited Item Investor', and need to keep an eye on the catalog, it would be a very handy feature when you are in a rush.
Another good, but not too important idea is to be able to view user stats. It would be handy if you are in a rush, and quickly want to check your place visits, or any other stats you may be interested in.
Another idea I have is to be able to change the app's theme, just like you can on the ROBLOX website. I personally dislike the app's theme, and want to be able to change it.
We should also be able to write our status. If there is something you quickly need to tell people, it would be handy if we could do it directly from the app.
Another good, but not too important idea is to be able to use the 'Currency Exchange' system. I personally only use this when I NEED to, but this idea should benefit others.
We should also be able to change our character. If you have just got an item off the catalog, and want to put it on, it would be an easier way of doing it.
Also, when we view other people's profiles on the app, it hardly shows anything. We should be able to view their user stats, see what groups they are in, and look at their hats etc.
In addition, we should be able to run ads on the app. This would be good if you quickly need to run an ad, but don't want to go through the long process on Safari. This would be a really handy feature!
We should also be able to view the ROBLOX news on the app. This would be good, because it would help us keep up with ROBLOX, while on the move.
Also, push notifications should be enabled on the app. So, for example, if 'ExampleGuy2202' sent me a friend request, it would pop up on my iPod 'ROBLOX: ExampleGuy2202 sent you a friend request' or if he sent me a message, it would pop up on my iPod 'ROBLOX: ExampleGuy2202 sent you a message'. This would be useful for keeping on top of your messages.
I have spent a lot of time thinking and developing these ideas, and removed the ones that people didn't like in V1, and added a few more. Please think before you criticise. The ROBLOX app is currently very basic, and I am just thinking of ways it could be improved. If you have any more ideas, please message me them so they can be included in V3.
