Change the backpack hotkey.

Simple. You know the backpack button near your tools? They hotkey is ~ I simply just suggest to change it to something more convenient/less annoying, like - or Ctrl.

I didn't know this but I kind of like it. The button is out of the way, almost never used so its better used than wasted. But like the above comment, changing it to what you want it is good. The - or Ctrl thing you said, I say no to that, those are just to overused and I don't want to have to remember another combination hot key (ex: Ctrl+Shift.....).
