They area legit contender. Don't tell me that Aelx Smith is gonna throw 7 ints or that they will find a way to lose, because they haven't found it yet. They are not relying on Smith, he is just making some short throws. The important thing for him is not turning the ball over. Frank Gore is doing his job and the niners take up plenty of clock time. Their defense is also great. If there is any team that can beat the Pack it just might be the 49ers. |

Before the season I predicted the 49ers would be 10-6. Everybody called me an extreme optimist, but I knew San Francisco was a good team. Last year they they could had a winning record over the 0-5 start, but never did the little things right with Singletary. |
