I am posting this here because people may know better, as the same thing happened to ColourTheory/Donkeyo4.

As you can see, my account was accidentally deleted. I sent [email protected] an email and they explained the situation. At first they were replying fairly fast. Every couple hours I would check my email and find a reply. Then they asked me to select 3 different user names in-case they need to change my account name. 48 hours later, they send me a message asking what my original email was for the account. It has been almost 4 days now, and I have gotten no reply. I sent them an email asking if they got my last one yesterday and today, and I got no reply.
I'm getting worried. The same thing has happened to ColourTheory/Donkeyo4. Any suggestions? |

I am sort of curious... how do you accidently delete an account? If it's so easy, why are there not more name changes out there?...

Well, they said this after I sent my email begging for forgiveness, since I thought at first that I was IP banned.
"Hello,
Your user name was inadvertently deleted by our filters. I have forwarded this to have it changed back. Was your original user name Chaneller? Can you also reply selecting 3 different user names that are currently not in use just in case we need to change your user name?

Yes. But they're restoring it with a different name. I'm getting very worried though, does anyone know how long this might take? |

@LeqoContract, that's what happened to ColourTheory, I am NOT saying I am him.
Anyways, they said it was by accident and that when they checked the log, I wasn't supposed to be [ Content Deleted ] or IP Banned and such. |

The fact that you made an alt with the same name as the account you just lost might mess up your ability to regain your account. The mods will probably go in to restore the account only to discover an account by that name already exists.
Then there's the whole thing about how patience pays off in the long run... |

@salzvatik12, I think all they need to do is change the [ Content Deleted ] to a new user name that I chose. |

They need to forward your request to the renaming department and that takes a while.
Also provide them with your userID, it helps a ton. (The thing at the end of your profile's URL)
4 days sounds about right. Send them another message after about a week if they still haven't renamed you to ask if they still have it. Don't worry. |

You can only get a name change if the mods mistakenly delete your account. But they're considering making it a feature of Roblox. |
