Although the floodcheck also triggers when you delete a post, and perhaps it takes 15 seconds, the same time as the floodcheck, conveniently, to delete. |

First off, what satisfaction does that bring?
If I swear, and then I delete the post before anyone sees it, what's to brag about? It brings no satisfaction to me at all.
Second off, there would be a list displaying all of the edits and deletes of threads and posts that went on, so even if the first point did bring the troll satisfaction, he'd get banned for swearing.
Problem solved.

But if the word is deleted, it is no longer there. So it brings two seconds of satisfaction. And it´s also a gamble, people can report pretty quickly.
If I was a troll and sweared, for a second I´d be like, ¨YEAH! NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS!¨ and then I delete it, and the satisfaction is gone.
Plus, it doesn´t even matter because the mods will have a tracking system.
Don´t avoid the one argument that completely solves the problem and instead attend to the one with the weakness.
