No... does BC really have to have their own forums... like we (N/T/O, BC) all have to be divided by a fine line?

Ah...Most of the people posting are NBCers...And of course, the few valid points comes from the BCers and 1 NBCer...
Roblox was created as a building/scripting sandbox game, where users created their own games and made them popular. As the game grew, not everybody could have a front page game, and many people didn't play to build their own game, but rather to hang out with the community.
So Roblox released other updates for the community, that don't affect building/scripting itself. It has all the BCs, but the BCers in the community are usually the people who talk their NBC friends into buying a giftcard or whatnot and getting BC for a short while...
To create a BC forum (Where there is about an equal number of NBCers and BCers) would not only seperate many BCers from NBCers who are thinking of buying BC, but it would cause the more rash players to rage...Which is the last thing roblox needs.
As always, we have to address the forum itself, would it be an OT clone, but with BCers only? Would it be a forum to talk about ONLY BC stuff? (Which really doesn't exist, since BCers have the same building supplies as NBCers)
It is an idea that comes again and again, but the OP always has little on it, showing that there wasn't much thought before posting.

Believing that NBCers only disapprove of these sort of ideas because they're jealous is stereotypical. I could care less about a BC forum. I just believe it's pointless, and unecessary.
Also...
My perspective:

It's Ironic, you were the one NBCer that was above my post that I said knew what he was thinking. Of course, if you look at the other posts, they are as pointless as a BC only thread.
I find that BC Benefits are small little things that aren't even needed for roblox, Group creation would be nice for NBC, but at least we can take part in groups. BC-Only Games are marketing techniques for NBCers, and it worked quite well.
Let's make an analogy, I sell you an old NES Game, and tell you I'll sell you another game in a month's time. A Month passes and you come to buy another, you give money to me and I give you the same game, but with different textures for the characters.
You notice the difference five games in, and you stop buying, simply because you realize that there is no reason left to buy these identical games with different skins.
Roblox is like this, even though the community changes up the games quite often, the types of games are the same. So Roblox will continue releasing BC Benefits, just to reset the timer for the current BCers. If they release the updates to please BCers so they stay longer, why would they give it to NBCers, where BCers can stop paying and simply get the same thing?
BCers payed the Company which payed the workers who make the privileges.
Of course, this arguement isn't even related to the thread, and we don't insanely different views, so our arguement is pretty pointless. However, this thread will die when we stop posting, and less people will see this awful idea, so I count that as a good thing.

I'm thinking along the lines of updates that affect all players. I'm not talking about allowing NBCers the advantage of having BC benefits. That'd reduce ROBLOX's earned money greatly, most likely. I'm talking about new updates, as in those that do not exist currently.
But, yes, this arguement is irrelevant to the subject.... Somewhat. :P |

Have you seen the Prism and Pyrimaid Parts on the Roblox Wiki? They've been there for awhile now, but haven't been released.
It kinda makes me sad, I can think of a ton of awesome uses for them, and I know many others can think of better uses for them...But until they are released I can't do a thing with them.
Usually any major Building/Scripting update will be released for NBCs as well, I haven't known them to not allow one for NBCers... It's just minor stuff that gets passed as BC only, so don't worry too much about it. ^^ |
