The Walking Dead (getting the first issue soon, the storylines look awesome!) and Infinity Gauntlet my First Comic Books, they are awesome, great storyline and introduction to Marvel Characters

Mark Millar's Ultimates 1 and 2. Ultimate Spiderman is cool, too.

@Ultracrash It is awesome! It's also extremely depressing. So many tragic things happen in it. Definitely the darkest series I've ever read. Issue 88 just recently released.

I have to admit m8, im only getting it for the TV series :) thanks to the TV series im a zombie fanatic so i HAD to get it, but yeah I heard its depressing but this is very realistic you havent got guys with unlimited ammo running about killing zombies its about survival Robert Kirkman has my Respect, One of the Best Comic Books Ever what issue would you say is the best?

I haven't read Walking Dead, but I am familiar with Kirkman's work. I like his Invincible, I want to get the Compendium.

I think Kirkman created Marvel Zombies I highly recommend his Series, I got the first issue today and im blown away not as good as the TV series but the comic books are great, the art is amazing the characters enjoyable and the storyline is great for a first issue but the ending was rather sudden. 8/10

I prefer the comics over the TV series. I've been reading them since 2005. The comics have bigger balls than the TV series will ever have just because I don't think the average TV audience can't handle what happens in the comics. Plus, both have a lot of differences. The comics have a lot of shocking moments and I even teared up in one panel.

the TV show does have the guts to take the series even further on story terms they are doing things Robert Kirkman could never do, and obviously he is helping but he gives them the freedom to change anything I dont think any TV series will allow the amount of violence that is displayed in the comic books, in comic books you can take things to the extreme with out any limitations, TV is very different the first issue was superb, I just feel that it was rushed but it was the FIRST obviously so Im looking foward to getting Issue 2

Tito is right. Censorship happens less in comics than in TV. In Siege, the Sentry just rips apart Ares and you can see all the organs pop out in a gigantic splash of blood. And this comic is rated T+

I seen that, shocking stuff but you dont need violence and gore for a intresting story

Yep. But a lot of comics do this (Kirkman's Invincible shows a lot of blood and gore in some arcs)

You guys gotta give "Y: The Last Man" a read. It's probably the best comic series out there. It's already finished and it's only 60 issues. The first issue is slow, but you gotta give it some time. It's very addicting.

I'm more of a superhero guy, though. But I'd like to read Sandman Mystery Theatre.

even though superhero comics are awesome, comics with emotional driven storylines which focuses on primary non-super humans is much better and worth the money in my opinion, but thats all it is a opinion :P not all hero's are super humans though :P what about hellboy?? the best Supernatural Detective in Comic Books!

Yeah, I wanna get the new Cap series. Steve McNiven's art looks awesome. It's just the $3.99 price tag is a bit menacing.
