"Yes, because all of those things are free '-'"
Well, why would you make an online game if you don't have those? It's obvious they have those. And to make many servers you don't need multiple of those. |

is this suggestion toward us players to think about before we post? |
|

" When BCers say something like, "I have OBC, so ha," " -"I have OBC, so ha" is a bit insulting by itself.
" NBCers often interpret it as "You're NBC, you suck, I'm the best, get lost." "- That "so ha" part makes that true.
" That can not only be considered a stereotype but also a direct assumption. " -A sadly true assumtion.
" You don't know the person behind the computer. " - It's usually a 6 year old.
" What if he meant it to sound differently than you interpreted it? " - Nope. "i have OBC so ha" can't really be interpreted anyway but "I have OBC so haha!
" "When you have something that not everyone else does, you have this terribly strong urge to show it off. " - A simple "I have OBC" would work.
" A lack of compliments on his BC status would likely lead to " - Why would anyone compliment someone on how spoiled they are?
" the BCer doing something to get that attention, " - YOU SUCK BECAUSE YOU HAVE NBC AND I HAVE BC!
" thus, something like, "I have OBC, so ha." Which was my previous example as well. " - See my above posts.

" So, my advice, after this whole spamload of text I've just written? Just, forget about it. Play a game, post on the forums, do what you like to cool yourself down, but don't even bother worrying, because it's not in your hands, and never will be. " - Why don't you play a game and post a bit instead of making a wall of text that only a few hundred people will read and only less than a hundred will care about. |
|
|
@ultimate
1) I can't play a game. Not on this computer. Or any other one in this house I'm staying in for a year.
2) I've "posted a bit" over 5,500 times. It's time for something new.
3) If a hundred people care about this thread, I feel good. You know, someone actually said on the original post that he had a different opinion, but changed he mind when he read my post.
Don't give me advice when you don't know what you're talking about.
Bump. |

1) The ability to construct or script unlimited places with alts.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
2) The ability to post on any forum you want, as many times as you like.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
3) The ability to play any and every game on ROBLOX, except for the handful of restricted free-modeled and unoriginal games on the front page.
Except the BC ones. Derp.
4) The ability to buy any and everything on the Catalog, except for the very small amount that are BC-Only. "
3650 tix for a veteran who saved up for an year will buy less than 350 robux. Barely enough for anything.
5) The ability to chat ingame and onsite.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
6) A 10 Ticket Daily Login bonus.
Which buys less than 1 robux.
7) The ability to trade currency.
Vast majority of NBCers will buy less than 100 robux.
8) The ability to have unlimited friends, and 20 Best Friends.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
9) The ability to join five groups.
Five is barely enough.
10) The ability to hold statistics.
You're listing irrelevant features in an attempt to bolster your number of features.
11) The ability to receive ROBLOX and Player Badges.
When was the last time someone cared about badges?
12) The ability to comment and favorite any and every game on ROBLOX.
Comment on every game? Except the ones with commenting disabled. Most of them are filled with spam.
13) Up to date news.
You mean news on gear and hats?
14) The ability to express yourself.
Can easily be merged with the ones above.
15) The ability to participate and win contests.
When have people cared about that?
16) The ability to use the ambassador program, and receive an extra 50 tickets a day at the most.
When have ROBLOX actually approved any links?
17) The ability to have a profile and an avatar.
Every single web site that allows you to register has this.
18) The ability to see and make user ads.
What's an ad?
19) The ability to receive any and every gift that ROBLOX makes.
Except the BC ones....
20) The ability to do all of this without making your wallet lose weight.
See above. |

" When BCers say something like, "I have OBC, so ha,"
--
"I have OBC, so ha" is a bit insulting by itself.
--
Thanks for repeating exactly the same thing I said in my post.
--
" NBCers often interpret it as "You're NBC, you suck, I'm the best, get lost."
--
That "so ha" part makes that true.
--
Oh, really? Since when were two words enough to make three assumptions? Excuse me, but apparently you only read a handful of separated sentences in the whole post and failed to read the part afterwards. Did you see the part about how easy it is to misinterpret a message over the Internet?
--
" That can not only be considered a stereotype but also a direct assumption. "
--
A sadly true assumtion.
--
Wonderful! Where's your proof? Notice, throughout the whole post, I wasn't giving concrete evidence to back up my statements. The fact is, the whole point of the post is so people like you don't start arguing with it, since it's just a virtual game, and we can't prove anything. However, what I assumed has a much larger chance of being true than what you assumed. Heck, a BCer might not even be thinking when he says something like "I have BC, so ha." You can't assume a person's life from a sentence you misinterpreted over the Internet.
--
" You don't know the person behind the computer. "
--
It's usually a 6 year old.
--
Really? Since when did you take a census and figure that out? And besides, that proves my point even more. If it's a kid, the sentence "I have BC, so ha," could of been created for several different reasons than with the point of insulting someone.
--
" What if he meant it to sound differently than you interpreted it? "
--
Nope. "i have OBC so ha" can't really be interpreted anyway but "I have OBC so haha!
--
Yes, it can. I'm not going to repeat EXACTLY WHAT I SAID in the post just because you're too darn lazy to read it yourself. If you expect me to act as a table of contents just because you don't feel like reading the thing that it only took me a few minutes to read over, think again.
--
" "When you have something that not everyone else does, you have this terribly strong urge to show it off.
--
A simple "I have OBC" would work.
--
No it wouldn't. No one would listen. But the minute you say, "I have OBC, so ha," people will be jumping all over you, though, it won't be a posittve audience. Why don't you tell the OBCer that? See how he says it won't work.
--
" A lack of compliments on his BC status would likely lead to "
--
Why would anyone compliment someone on how spoiled they are?
--
Why would you make an assumption that they're spoiled just because they pay a minimal amount a month? Just because you're too lazy to mow a lawn doesn't mean everyone else is. And frankly, having membership doesn't make you spoiled - you paid, you get benefits. That's the bottom line. Oh yes, and the base of my statement which you argued against was the OBCer wanting compliments, not the fact that there's hardly a chance that anyone would compliment him.
--
" the BCer doing something to get that attention, "
--
YOU SUCK BECAUSE YOU HAVE NBC AND I HAVE BC!
--
Exactly. But, that's stretching it - barely ever before have I seen a BCer shout in caps lock and say something like that. At the most, "I have BC, you don't, lololol."
--
" thus, something like, "I have OBC, so ha." Which was my previous example as well. "
--
See my above posts.
--
Which ones? You mean the ones you didn't think about at all? You mean the ones that only took me a second to figure out how to argue against? If you mean those, I wouldn't call that an argument.
--
Too lazy to finish argument
--
Too bad. You want to go on? Because I can.
Also, I'm not at my top-notch arguing skills right now. Sorry for the inconvenience of the inevitable being prolonged. |

1) The ability to construct or script unlimited places with alts.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
--
You mean by this..?
--
2) The ability to post on any forum you want, as many times as you like.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
--
What the heck...?
--
3) The ability to play any and every game on ROBLOX, except for the handful of restricted free-modeled and unoriginal games on the front page.
Except the BC ones. Derp.
--
That's what I just said. "except for the handful of *RESTRICTED* free-modeled and unoriginal games on the front page." Everything in that statement was stereotyping BC-Only games. I like how you dodged my statement "the ability to play any and every game on ROBLOX, except."
--
4) The ability to buy any and everything on the Catalog, except for the very small amount that are BC-Only. "
3650 tix for a veteran who saved up for an year will buy less than 350 robux. Barely enough for anything.
--
So? Do you see my outfit? I'm fine with it. I have five or six outfits in total, and I love them all. You just need to be a little creative, and not go for the ridiculous hats that don't fit on your head or anything.
--
5) The ability to chat ingame and onsite.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
--
*cough* I think that's becoming your automatic comeback when you can't find a proper answer to what I said. Define what you mean by this.
--
6) A 10 Ticket Daily Login bonus.
Which buys less than 1 robux.
--
It's called saving up. Even if you don't get a lot of money, what other people think of you doesn't matter. Most of the time, I'm not thinking about my money, and before I know it, I have enough money to buy an expensive outfit.
--
7) The ability to trade currency.
Vast majority of NBCers will buy less than 100 robux.
--
So? The point was you at least get ROBUX. Just because you don't get much doesn't make trading currency worthless.
--
8) The ability to have unlimited friends, and 20 Best Friends.
Don't give ROBLOX any ideas.
--
Half of the things you responded to so far was with that statement. I have no idea what it means.
--
9) The ability to join five groups.
Five is barely enough.
--
Barely enough for what? At least you get anything to do with groups. Just because you can only join five doesn't make the feature dumb.
--
10) The ability to hold statistics.
You're listing irrelevant features in an attempt to bolster your number of features.
--
You're listing irrelevant responses in an attempt to bolster your failing argument. Holding statistics IS a feature. Whether you take it for granted or not. It's how you interpret it that matters. What if you couldn't get any KOs or WOs? What if you couldn't have a post count? It's little things like that that matter.
--
11) The ability to receive ROBLOX and Player Badges.
When was the last time someone cared about badges?
--
Uh, I care about badges. It gives you a feeling of being good at something if you get a badge (unless you go to a place where you drop down a tube and receive 1,000+ badges). Just because you don't care about them doesn't mean no one else does.
--
12) The ability to comment and favorite any and every game on ROBLOX.
Comment on every game? Except the ones with commenting disabled. Most of them are filled with spam.
--
So? Can you not still comment? "Every game" was a mistake, but you know what I mean.
--
13) Up to date news.
You mean news on gear and hats?
--
If that's the most up-to-date news, yes. And not all of it is useless, mind you. Every once in awhile they come out with something good.
--
14) The ability to express yourself.
Can easily be merged with the ones above.
--
Expressing yourself by your clothes, your chat, your profile, your groups, is a feature.
--
15) The ability to participate and win contests.
When have people cared about that?
--
Dude, you're making false assumptions just since you can't argue with anything properly. PEOPLE DO CARE ABOUT THAT. Just because you don't, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
--
16) The ability to use the ambassador program, and receive an extra 50 tickets a day at the most.
When have ROBLOX actually approved any links?
--
Several friends tell me they get lots of money from the ambassador program. ROBLOX approves links. Don't even try to reply if you can't say anything to what I said. It saves us both time and you the humiliation.
--
17) The ability to have a profile and an avatar.
Every single web site that allows you to register has this.
--
Some require membership first. And, RS doesn't. You just have an avatar. Also, ROBLOX's profiles and avatars are unique. That's what makes ROBLOX ROBLOX.
--
18) The ability to see and make user ads.
What's an ad?
--
Advertisement... Stop stalling me.
--
19) The ability to receive any and every gift that ROBLOX makes.
Except the BC ones....
--
Except the few that are BC, you mean.
--
20) The ability to do all of this without making your wallet lose weight.
See above.
--
Even if what all that you said was true, we still have tons of features without paying for them. Can't you just appreciate rather than whine about it? You need to realize that I'm NBC too. I've been one for two and a half years. I know what it feels like. But do I care? No. So you shouldn't either. |
|
|
Thanks for repeating exactly the same thing I said in my post.
--
You completely ignored my actual argument. Congratulations.
--
Oh, really? Since when were two words enough to make three assumptions? Excuse me, but apparently you only read a handful of separated sentences in the whole post and failed to read the part afterwards. Did you see the part about how easy it is to misinterpret a message over the Internet?
--
Since when has "I have OBC, so ha" been two words? You have just misinterpreted everything. Good job.
I've read every sentence, but due to my outstanding laziness, only responded to a few.
And you're not even actually responding to my actual argument.
--
A sadly true assumtion.
--
--
A wordwall per sentence. Do you plan on tiring me out?
Wow. actually assuming internet arguments are more than just two people going BLUB GLUB YOU SUCK and demanding proof.
And according to that logic, nobody ever assumes anything over the internet correctly.
--
Really? Since when did you take a census and figure that out? And besides, that proves my point even more. If it's a kid, the sentence "I have BC, so ha," could of been created for several different reasons than with the point of insulting someone.
--
When have you done research and conducted a survey to figure anything out?
--
Yes, it can. I'm not going to repeat EXACTLY WHAT I SAID in the post just because you're too darn lazy to read it yourself. If you expect me to act as a table of contents just because you don't feel like reading the thing that it only took me a few minutes to read over, think again.
--
And I'm not going to reply to this. See my above post.
--
No it wouldn't. No one would listen. But the minute you say, "I have OBC, so ha," people will be jumping all over you, though, it won't be a posittve audience. Why don't you tell the OBCer that? See how he says it won't work.
--
And why don't you even try?
Assuming "I have OBC" would gather exactly 0 replies, 1 view from you, and nothing else. Also, again you ignore the actual post.
--
Why would you make an assumption that they're spoiled just because they pay a minimal amount a month? Just because you're too lazy to mow a lawn doesn't mean everyone else is. And frankly, having membership doesn't make you spoiled - you paid, you get benefits. That's the bottom line. Oh yes, and the base of my statement which you argued against was the OBCer wanting compliments, not the fact that there's hardly a chance that anyone would compliment him.
--
too lazy to reply
see NBC other PoV thread
the money part
--
Exactly. But, that's stretching it - barely ever before have I seen a BCer shout in caps lock and say something like that. At the most, "I have BC, you don't, lololol."
--
One time I was in a game, OBCer shouted "Shut up NBC noob". I replied, he said "Because I'm BC and youre not so shut up."
--
" Which ones? You mean the ones you didn't think about at all? " - Lowered to the level of insults because your run is going badly? Also, dodging the actual post.
" You mean the ones that only took me a second to figure out how to argue against? " - Firstly, I could say the same about every one of your posts. Second, dodging the actual post. Again.
If you mean those, I wouldn't call that an argument. " - And by that logic, your string of posts isn't an argument either.
--
Too bad. You want to go on? Because I can.
Also, I'm not at my top-notch arguing skills right now. Sorry for the inconvenience of the inevitable being prolonged.
--
want to play other game = true

Let me make something clear to you. This argument, is worthless. We both can't prove anything. What I'm trying to convey through this post is that every rant also has the possible other side of the argument, and a lot of people forget about that. Mostly everything that can be said against ROBLOX, can be said in defense of them too.
Going offline now. I'll continue arguing later, if you're still in the mood, that is... |
|
|
1) You mean by this..?
--
For future refrence, "don't give ROBLOX any ideas" means "Valid post move along"
--
3) That's what I just said. "except for the handful of *RESTRICTED* free-modeled and unoriginal games on the front page." Everything in that statement was stereotyping BC-Only games. I like how you dodged my statement "the ability to play any and every game on ROBLOX, except."
--
I like how apples to apples and sandbox are free modeled and unoriginal.
--
4) So? Do you see my outfit? I'm fine with it. I have five or six outfits in total, and I love them all. You just need to be a little creative, and not go for the ridiculous hats that don't fit on your head or anything.
--
First up, I'm fine with just a bloxxer shirt and a ROBLOX cap.
Secondly, valid defense, invalid original point.
5) *cough* I think that's becoming your automatic comeback when you can't find a proper answer to what I said. Define what you mean by this.
--
Would you like some medicine?
--
6) It's called saving up. Even if you don't get a lot of money, what other people think of you doesn't matter. Most of the time, I'm not thinking about my money, and before I know it, I have enough money to buy an expensive outfit.
--
Saving up? It takes more than three years at 1 robux to 10 tix to buy a vast majority of items in the catalog.
--
7) So? The point was you at least get ROBUX. Just because you don't get much doesn't make trading currency worthless.
--
Again. Vast majority of items cost far far more than just a few hundred robux.
--
8) Half of the things you responded to so far was with that statement. I have no idea what it means.
--
I mean "valid post move along"
--
9) Barely enough for what? At least you get anything to do with groups. Just because you can only join five doesn't make the feature dumb.
--
>implying I called the feature dumb
--
10) You're listing irrelevant responses in an attempt to bolster your failing argument. Holding statistics IS a feature. Whether you take it for granted or not. It's how you interpret it that matters. What if you couldn't get any KOs or WOs? What if you couldn't have a post count? It's little things like that that matter.
--
>implying over 90% of websites ever don't list statistics
--
11) Uh, I care about badges. It gives you a feeling of being good at something if you get a badge (unless you go to a place where you drop down a tube and receive 1,000+ badges). Just because you don't care about them doesn't mean no one else does.
--
Badges are little more than an ego boosting gimmick. Do the maths. How many front page places are without badges?
--
12) So? Can you not still comment? "Every game" was a mistake, but you know what I mean.
--
Your comment will be seen for less than a few seconds in popular places, and in the smaller places your comment will be barely seen.
--
13)If that's the most up-to-date news, yes. And not all of it is useless, mind you. Every once in awhile they come out with something good.
--
Do the maths. How much news is about hats and gear.
--
14) Expressing yourself by your clothes, your chat, your profile, your groups, is a feature.
--
That entire feature can easily be merged with the ones you stated above.
--
15) Dude, you're making false assumptions just since you can't argue with anything properly. PEOPLE DO CARE ABOUT THAT. Just because you don't, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
--
Thing is, I don't care about ego boosting gimmicks.
--
16) Several friends tell me they get lots of money from the ambassador program. ROBLOX approves links. Don't even try to reply if you can't say anything to what I said. It saves us both time and you the humiliation.
--
Humiliation? Oh, please. Stop trying to make me laugh.
Several friends? pics or it didnt happen.
ROBLOX has a link approval bot that rejects links on valid pages.
--
17) Some require membership first. And, RS doesn't. You just have an avatar. Also, ROBLOX's profiles and avatars are unique. That's what makes ROBLOX ROBLOX.
--
If I weren't lazy, I could just as easily list a hundred sites with unique avatars and profiles.
--
18) Advertisement... Stop stalling me.
--
Oh, the ones that are blocked by a decent adblocker! Right!
--
19) Except the few that are BC, you mean.
--
You keep using the word "every" in places that the word every should not be used.
--
20) Even if what all that you said was true, we still have tons of features without paying for them. Can't you just appreciate rather than whine about it? You need to realize that I'm NBC too. I've been one for two and a half years. I know what it feels like. But do I care? No. So you shouldn't either.

epic win thread. |

@Recruit
Took me a while to get what your saying serious.
Some of the parts you said, I didn't really get what you really talking about, but anyways,Seen it a lot of times. Yes, it gets annoying and ends in LONG FLAME WARS. Its need stop. Only problem about Roblox is they need to remove some flame wars attrative features like BC Games which I don't really care about that much, but it gets annoying when it comes to flame wars.
Other that, this needs to stop NOW. But it will be very hard to do so. Since the majority of the players are kids and they will be very hard to convince. |
