What should happen on the forums is that you should have the ability to delete your own post. There are many reasons for this. What if you made an bad post by accident and you want to delete it? Then there should be a delete my post option much similar to the report option. when you clidk it it askes you why you want your post to be deleted (much like reporting) and if its a legit explanation, then it will delete your post. My main actually got banned for posting something i didn't intend to post.
It is actually quite a story. I made up my own signature and like most signatures people do, you copy and paste it onto your posts correct? Well someone posted a link of something (don't remember now) so i copied it onto my URL. I completely forgot that i still had that link so instead of pasting my signature i ended up pasting the URL. The stupid thing was that i KNEW i was going to get banned for it eventhough it was a complete misunderstanding. I couldn't even delete my post so i ended up waiting for when i get signed out because i've been banned. Total rubbish.
