The Ultimate Computer of Absolute Awesomeness (TUCAA, as we'll call it)
The TUCAA is a sort of "Mother ship" of data persistance in YOUR games! in each of your games, you will get a "DPC" or a Data Persistance Code, The DPC is the thing that holds the persisted data in your game.
To utilize the TUCAA, you insert a new object into your game called, of course, the TUCAA. Inside the TUCAA (when you double click the inserted object in the explorer window) you type in all the DPC's of your games and all the statistics of the "Profiles" of the games where the DPC's come from will be inserted INSIDE the TUCAA, alowing for a cross-game transfer of data, or a game that distributes data from multiple games.
Incase that did not make sense, here is a play for your convenience:
Jack: Yay, I made a RPG, FINALLY!
*two days of hard work and advertising later*
*game gets popular*
Jack: Hmm... maybe I should make a sequal, but I'd only want the sequal to be accessible by the players who finished the first one... maybe I should make it so that all the monsters would be impossible to kill if you weren't the top level! But how could I make it so that all the players who made it to the last level would keep there level even through the next game.... oh... ROBLOX doesn't have that :(.
Suggestions Man: NEVER FEAR! I AM INTRODUCING THE ALL NEW: TUCAA!!!!!
Jack: What the frig is a "TUCAA"?
Suggestions Man: "The Ultimate Computer of Absolute Awesomeness"! Anyways, the TUCAA allows you to have data from one game transfered to another!
Jack: AWESOME! But is there anything else I can do with it?
Suggestions Man: OF COURSE! say you have 3 games, and you want a player to finish all 3 of those games before being able to enter another one, AND, you want them to keep all their stuff, well, now you can use the TUCAA to make sure ALL their statistics and items are safe with them!
Jack: Yay! But what if another person uses the code in my game and steals all the scripts from the weapons that they got in my game?
Suggestions Man: Don't worry, the code is randomized with captiatal and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols, making it extremely hard to guess! Also, YOU CHOOSE which codes are allowed in your game and which ones aren't!
*play ends*
*curtain closes*
Well, how was that for a play? Anyway, post your feedback here!
