What he is suggesting is that you should be able to send a request for someone to join your group, so they either accept it or decline. Basicly, it works like friend requests, except it's asking them to join your group. & Sure, why not?

Right! Note: not everyone can invite people to the group! only ranked people. (there would be a setting.)
