------Intro-------------------------------------------------------------- You just spent your hour and a half of computer time on paint. Editing, erasing, perfecting. Your beautiful masterpiece contains a unique comic about a noob and telamon over dinner with some soup issues, and you happily upload your ad. A little later, while browsing the forums, you see your ad, and joyfully click it. But instead of leading to your amazing obby, it leads to some noob's bUY MeHH!!1!! T-shirt. You have been another victim of the copy and paste catastrophe. ------Idea--------------------------------------------------------------- 1.To automaticly turn ads into .gifs by taking the static image and adding a small image in the corner, like a waving guest or firing rocket. That way, if noobs try to copy the ad, it will be saved in .gif form and can't be uploaded. I know they could convert it to a static image, but it would be extra work for the noob. 2. To check uploaded ads against a database of all uploaded ads and if there was, say, 85% resemblence or higher it would not upload unless that user was the original submitter. This may take up a large amount of storage space, but it could only use about a month's worth of archives. ------Tl;Dr----------------------------------------------------------------- Read the above noob! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -ecoecoeco3000

Well for one it would take their money to set up this and it would take WAY too long for number two to happen. Put a ad up one day in the next month it could be up. ~Naw, I don't troll I speak my mind~

Don't worry to much mate. All things in life now seem to cost money is ridoulous if you ask me (spelt wrong possibly sorry) Sounds good or (if not on there) just cover the add in your name once it's made (in small almost visible writing) that way the copiers would have to remove this to class it as their own which will result in like rubbng out the whole picture. With that copied ads will be easy to spot then downs comes the almighty mouse to SLAM DOWN ON THE ALL POWERFUL REPORT BUTTON. *even bigger caps* AND WILL BE BANISHED TO BAN LAND

Get over it. Does it really matter if you copy advertisements? No, it doesn't. No support.

Make a transparent insignia or write your name across the add,but make i transparent so if someone wants to copy your ad,they will have to edit it out,and if they do that,it takes part of the image away. Also, this will improve your profit because YOUR ad with YOUR name is being used by multiple people.

What if these ideas be done? We would still be able to copy the images with screenshots.

What if they convert the ad to an animation file that repeatdly shows the picture on each frame of the animation, that no one can copy? You can't copy links with animations I don't think.....

No. Copying ads is -not- against the rules. There's nothing wrong with it. Even Telamon copies ads. It's simply your fault for being annoyed by them.

Just add a water mark to your ad if you don't want it to get copied. If they try to remove it, then there will be a big gap where it was, seeing how most use MS Paint.
