What if some kids are capable of scripting and building? I am a child that can build real well! But I cant really script. I can insert service and meshes too! |

I'm 12, have grammar, and can script. Yeah, sure, we need MORE of the older audience...but dropping the young ones isn't a solution. |

I agree 99%. Some kids arent really capable of using studio mode. I mean, its so ironic how roblox is suppose to be for kids. But capable people make games for the children to play on. Well roblox welcomes ages 8 - 18. That is just plain irony. This was suppose to be a kids game but then again. Ages 8 - 18, Ages probably 13 and under just annoy older users', etc. Roblox, you just have some pure irony. Why would you do this? Why didnt you just think straight? Roblox would be better off withought children. |

Kid need to have fun but those who are 5 or less should not play,if u think Mc is a kid game u wrong,grown up aso play to so roblox is kinda suit for kid and if scripting is too hard then they can build without scripting,so stop acting like this is a kid game, they can learn scripting and building when they old,and this is like a gamemaker dearm,some kid dream are to make game and stuff and roblox is a free way to learn so stop saying this isn't for kid,

u know what if this rlly happen what if there no kid game for 12 or less or not even go outside what would u do keep it like this or what.No offensie someday it might happen when the goverment said so and u can only go outside for the whole entire day for fun and if u want to be bored then sit on the couch wacthing tv only that.

Wow Godzillaman32, your wonderful spelling and grammar just showed us all how smart you are. I highly doubt your IQ is 165, that would make you well over what is considered "genius". In addition, you must take an IQ score with a grain of salt. IQ tests cannot (and never will be able to) factor in someone's creativity, and philosophical understanding, those are two things you cannot put a number on, people will try, but it's the same principle that applies to the left and right brain functions. If Picasso wasn't a painter would he be considered a genius? Probably not.
Now, I'm not saying there aren't children of young ages who are incredibly smart, because there are. I would be wrong to say so. However, going around spouting out high, most likely falsely manifested, IQ numbers does not make you intelligent. That is true about everyone, not just Godzillaman32.
I think what bobmcbob49 is trying to say, is that ROBLOX should be advertised to an older audience. Not that the younger people cannot play as well, that would be ridiculous. I, however, understand where he is coming from. It is getting frustrating to see all of the old building tools simplified, it makes it more difficult to build something with meticulous detail. I think this has something more to do with commercial competition with another building game that starts with M...(If you know what I mean). But now they want to change studio? What is left to make it feel like ROBLOX? I'm slighty concerned, but I'm going to trust ROBLOX and see what happens. |

No support at all, grouping people into ages isn't acceptable, can get ROBLOX sued, would cause them to lose members, blah blah blah.
Oh and by the way, not everyone wants to build a game. ROBLOX is to play AND build. Not everyone wants to be some hot-shot scripter. No offence, but this suggestion is selfish, or at least, the way you word it makes it look selfish. Here's how I [and I'm sure a lot more people] see it: You only want people to build and have advanced games and such so that you don't have to deal with "noobish" people who can't program at all. That's how I see it. So, deal with the fact ROBLOX is made for people 8 to 18. |

I'm 11. I'm intelligent. I know my basic grammar. I can't script but I was thinking of learning. This game isn't all building, it's playing too. Advertising to both age groups would work well but if ROBLOX staff found a way to advertise both age groups in one ad, they can attract more than ever. |

im 14, so i guess im considered o be part of the "older audience" and let me tell you, i've met some of the smartest kids in the world on roblox. i myself, can only do VERY basic scripting easily. and as much as i would love to see a more mature players in roblox...
roblox wont target older kids due to the fact that younger kids are more likely to go onto roblox, while older kids(depending on age) have much better things to do. |
