Create And Save Songs

You know how there are allot of instruments on ROBLOX? well my idea is that you(and/or you friends) are able to create songs using one or multiple instrument by recording the sound only and then publishing it to ROBLOX. all the instruments will have a record button that when pressed, will record all near by noises coming from instruments. you can do this anywhere and if you have your instrument with you, you will be able to play any song that you have recorded.

How would anyone know if it's ROBLOX music or not? You can upload a drum solo with bad words in it and they would think it's ROBLOX music.

Roblox team mods would have to sift through the WHOLE song, listnening for profanities or anything else inappropriate, compared to just looking at a simple image. This is near-impossible. I'd rather use the sounds from already-existing gear. At least I know they can't be deleted.

No, that is not true. People can create bad things without the mods knowing. There are enough places, that if not reported, will just stay there for young kids to see. When a place gets reported, the mods have to look at it. I don't see why they can't 'listen' to it. I made shirts and decals that went through the profanity filter, and didn't get banned till reported alot. that's how it works, when it gets reported, it gets checked, it gets deleted.

Heh, so you agree with uploading sounds that are hardly moderated? Sure, let the kids freely hear it. It's better than, according to you, partially moderated pics and places. I believe you catch my drift.

You totally ignored my place part. I can totally create a place with adult content, without the mods knowing it. Then I can link it or advertise it alot in 1 day and alot of people will see it. You see that all those arguments of moderation are false.

But this doesn't mean that we would just let music slip away, too. Along with places. They can't moderate places, they have to come right off to the public in a jiffy. But music put on the hold. So can decals.

moderation will not be necessary because you can not show anything vulgar with out any vocals to be in it. its all going to be ROBLOX gear and im sure there isnt not a way to create anything inappropriate with it.

Oh? OHHH! Hmmm, can't you just make a script that makes sound/sounds play in different intervals? You can also make chords with this, if you want. I don't know about recording, though. I believe a script is enough if you want to make it work in-game.

I agree. But. What if someone records nothing? They hit record and then they don't do anything. This would waste space.

oh yeah, forgot to mention: when looking through stuff, they have different categories like "Hats", "Shirts", etc., there will be a new category called "Music". here is where your save songs will be stored. when looking at the page of a song, you will have the choice to listen to it before claiming one as your own (Public Domain). when looking at the songs you created, you will have the option to set your song as public domain or not.
