I have made several Japanese-Medieval RPs before.
I know some Japanese and Japanese names and I have a translator app on my phone to help come up with names.
Maybe it could take place in the Sengoku Era. I believe that was a warring period in Japan. |

There are things like magical foxes, demon fires, toilet spirits, forest spirits, skeleton warriors, etc.
Here is an idea for the story:
During the 1300s in Japan, a king that ruled a huge, rich kingdom died.
He had two twin sons who both wanted the throne but could not rule with Oligarchy.
They decided to split the old kingdom in two and began fighting.
War broke out and people began to starve or die in battle.
