People have been talking about how Roblox is going beyond Freemium. They say that it's almost Pay-To-Play(P2P).
-3 Builders' Clubs
-Green outline on OBC 1 Year
-Overpriced Hats; only BC members can afford...
-No improvements to building; Terrain lags tremendously
-Mod immunity for TBC/OBC
They say that NBC is under-powered
-10 TIX per day
-1 Place at a time
-No Packages
-Cannot Auction or create items
-Mods treat them like... Less
All the while, while BC has
-15-60 TIX per day
-Loyalty bonus
-Multiple places
-Badge creator
-Group creator
-BC-only items
-BC- Only places
-MEGA servers (No Terrain caused lag)
-Auction items
-Gear Bonus
Robloxians, listen to me.
Roblox
-Corporation built for money. Must pay staff
-Size costs. The bigger the site gets, the more they must pay for bandwidth
-Servers cost 120-$600 each. Must maintain these.
-100,000+Games means 100,000+Servers
-Roblox as a game is FREE TO JOIN. This means that Roblox must make $$$.
The opportunities are quite limiting.
Options
TF2 Method
-Money made completely through visual Add-Ons
This requires a company with multiple games; perhaps a system. Roblox CANNOT do this, as the amount required for servers is massive. Besides, if you couldn't customize your character, could you play?
M/\i/\n/\e/\c/\r/\a/\f/\'t/\ Method
-Demo is free. Game requires money.
...Roblox requires a social aspect. Only scripters are gonna play something like this.
ROBLOX method
-Game is Free, premium content and extra currency must be bought.
The reason this works is the reason the other two fail.
BCers, as much as I detest the idea of paying for this game, you keep this thing alive.
NBC, Roblox owes us NOTHING unless we
1.Bring people to this game (ambassador)
2.Create a level, keeping Roblox alive(TIX bonus)
However, that is no reason for Roblox to treat NBC like trash.
BUT IT DOESN'T.
-Buy items
-Play levels
-Customize Character
That is enough for the majority of players to be NBC.
If you don't like Roblox
1.Quit it
2.Protest en masse. I may join, may not
3.Demand fair moderation and equal rights. NBC should have just as much immunity as BC/TBC/OBC, that is to say, BC should have NO mod immunity.
One more thing...
-Builders should be able to create 2 places, and should have access to BC only items, albeit at 2X price.

When I first joined ROBLOX, I thought BC was if you want to create more. I never thought about tix, robux, or anything. I only thought of it to be more building. I was a guest for about 2 years. Playing and playing everyday. Researching ROBLOX everyday. I said. "Why what a great game. And what is this so called Builders Club?" When I figured out "places" then I said this, "Oh, Builders Club is for people who want to build alot more" then I decided to join ROBLOX in 2011. My, everything has changed. What happened? Did everything just leave and somebody else took over? Ever since I seen these quotes, I got shocked of how much they care for BC'ers. Everything has changed. I learned to adapt, and I successfully adapted to the new community.

You're completely right. Some people say it is, however. Most of that wall of text is defining why Roblox is what it is, and why, while it may seem like that, isn't.

1: if roblox didn't have bc, they would make NO $ and roblox would never exist
2: if roblox didnt have all the REALLY cool features of bc, no one would buy bc, hence roblox closing down AGAIN.

Meh, a portion of this epic thread is related to a theory about ROBLOX (thought by me, of course) from logical assumptions:
ROBLOX is only becoming more P2P mainly because they are putting in updates that only worsen their bills and temperarily madden the community. I thought this because back in 09, ROBLOX didn't have all of these updates, and BC wasn't a necessity to enjoy ROBLOX fully. Then ROBLOX applied the new HUD, and soon enough, BC only updates started showing.

The HUD is to make Roblox war games more FPS-esque. Many have joined ROBLOX because of that, leading to more servers needed, and more BC needed as well, yes?
Some say ROBLOX is becoming an... Online Social Hangout, somewhat like Facebook... Because of the BC bonus, more people buy it, thus ROBLOX is able to expand while still making money. As I said above however, BC is becoming more powerful, as with more joining comes more cost...
That's why I proposed a PseudoBC, for Builders ONLY.
I meandered abit, but the core complaints of the community are DIRECTLY caused by the expansion of Roblox. Y'get me? |

BC isn't the main source of money. 3/4 of their money is ads. Only 1/4 of ROBLOX is (T/O)BC. And you're right. I was banned for hacking. It was repealed when they got my report for being false reported, but the TBCer who reported me didn't even get a warning. |

ads make most of roblox's money huh? then what about all those years when roblox never had ads? (they didnt make enough money) why didn't they keep just one bc? (they didnt make enough money)... oh and btw, below is just a quote, it happens automaticaly
