Western Conference: 16 teams Eastern Conference: 14 teams Quebec most likely eastern city to get NHL team.

Why would they send more teams out east when there moving into a 4 confrence setup???

It should be more like Eastern has 16, and Western has 14. Detroit is in Western, but has Eastern timezone.

It's a 4 conference league. They'd have to go to Conference A and be a West team.
