1. Every team will play in every arena every year. 2. Classic rivalries for Stars like Red Wings, BLackhawks, Blues, and Minnesota. 3. Time zones. Especially for Stars, due to them playing 80% of division on PST. 4. Increased nights in hotel due to Pacific travel. 5. More practice time, less jet lag. 6. More money made on broadcasting due to early start times comared to Pacific. 7. More money spent on other areas, rather than travel, which helps greatly. So, basically, Dallas is, in reality, the greatest benificiary from the NHL realignment.

So is the rest of the Pacific Division. Less time going from San Jose to Dallas back to San Jose then to Anahiem. The Sharks have been the highest travel team (Per Miles for Years). So I am happy about it.

Where did you get that from. Since I saw a article about it saying the Sharks are the most.

@yonnd WTH. That's a 3,000 mile difference. Something has to be up with that.

Ah. Well still, it'll cut down majorly on both teams. Stars just had to travel more for division games.
