Chapter 1: The Beggining of the End
The alarm had sounded. It was only music to his ears to hear the alarm mixed with the sound of ammunition flying everywhere. He loved the smell too. Three facility guards were chasing him. "Hurry up! He's getting away!" One guard yelled to the others. "Don't let him get away with that Shard!!" Another guard yelled. The theif was eventually chased into a corner. "Surrender now and you may live, you theif!!" A guard said. The theif refused and jumped into the air. "Where did he go!?" A guard exclamed. Without letting the guards see him, the thief was hanging from the ceiling. When the guards couldn't find him, he fell from the ceiling and destroyed the guards. "Worthless beings." The theif said. He walked outside of the facility and saw a ton of police and guards waiting at there. "Ready men, FIRE AT WILL!!!" A squad leader yelled. The theif simply held up the shard of a mirror that he stole from the facility and the bullets were stopped in their tracks. It served as a sheild. "Hold fire! He is too strong! Fall back!" The squad leader exclamed. "Ah-hahahaha!!" The theif laughed. "You cowards!!!" He yelled at them as the guards and police ran. Still using the mirror shard as a sheild, he said a spell, and he dissapeared... The theif had only began is path into eternal darkness. Only a group of certain people could turn the theif back to normal. The theifs name... Chris.

No, it just kinda reminds me of the other fanfics I've seen.
Which is a good thing because it doesn't strain your brain to learn a ~completly new~ writing style.
