they are good books from the British book author Jenny Nimmo, a good series with 7 current books and an 8th one comming soon, the books are about 4rth grade for reading level, but are appropriate for even kindergardeners! The whole series starts out in Midnight for Charlie Bone, where Charlie finds out he can hear the thoughts and voices of people in photos, in the 2nd Charlie finds out he can do the same with paintings, and can also visit the people under certain circumstances. The main storyline of the whole series, is Charlie goes to a school called Bloor's Academy because he is "endowed" with a special power, the staff at Bloor's are cruel, mean, creepy people, and some of them, just like Charlie are endowed, Charlie is a Picture Traveler, but there are also Power Boosters, Hypnotists, Telekinetics, Storm Bringers, and many other powers. The people who have these powers are called the Children of the Red King, the name was given because of the Red King's 10 children, And ALL of the endowed people are decended from them. There was a battle between the ten children after there mother, Bernice, died, the Red King left the castle, and Borlath, the eldest of all of the children took control, Borlath was an evil kid, along with 4 others, the other 5 where good, there was a battle, and the good won and went to other parts of the world. When Charlie was born, Emma Tolly was hypnotized my Manfred Bloor Charlie's father tried to save Emma, but was also hypnotized by Manfred. Charlie wanted to meet his father and will he? That is one thing i know, but you will have to find out. I highly recomend these books, they are fun to read, action packed, adventures!

Omg i love charlie bone books! I own "charlie bone and the invisible boy" which the title is self-explanatory.

Dagbert drowned tancred...yes...but tancred was alive in the end of the book....im pretty sure the cats revived him :D but i still dont liek dagbert hes creepy

I think Harry Potter and Charlie Bone are very different, yes. But I have my right to say that I perfer both. Harry Potter has movies, and Charlie Bone doesen't. Anyway, They are both Great books. I don't dislike them.
