Mother Lode, designed by me, is a 2D (ish) mining-oriented game. It used to be relatively popular, but I have lacked the motivation to update it for over a year. So, now, I've uncopylocked it in hopes that someone else will finish the job.
I'm posting here in scripter's because the coding behind the game is far more complex than one might imagine, and no everyday builder will be able to tinker with the systems implace.
The most popular suggest updates include: house upgrades; misc. mining supplies (ie dynamite); something for the secret back room of the shop; and something for the big back 3D 'playground'
The updates I hoped to script include: payment system for pick repairs; additional minerals and layers of the mine; data persistence instead of code-saving; a mineral-sharing system that actually works (so if two people mine 50% of a $100,000 mineral, each person gets 50,000 instead of the person who got in the last hit getting it all)
If you do take on and finish this project, there's two things you can do:
First, you could publish the game under your own profile. I do, however, ask that, if you chose this option, you give me credit as the original designer.
Second, depending on the quality of your improvements, I'd be willing to pay you around 10,000 Robux for your work, in order to buy the completed game back.
Good luck to anyone who wants to give it a go; feel free to PM me with questions about what certain parts of my scripts do.
Finally, please do not republish the game without significant improvements.
Thanks,
Vitos |

Ill give it a look might make some changes. BUT IDK yet... |

Looked at it its not the kind of work i do...I like putting lots of values and know where everything is and what it is... i don't like the script it all out i try to make my scripts as simple as they can. |

I wonder if I should uncopylock my minigames... I never work on them anymore, and it would be kinda nice to see the scripts being expanded upon in some way... |

Mustyoshi, are you referring to Mother Lode? It still works fine when I test it. |

Any better? |

Well I personally wouldn't Person. Most people will just copy it and try to get ppl to spam in, and others still will break it due to not knowing what they are doing. |

Let them spam and break it. Spammers won't get more than a few hundred views or so, and those who don't know what they're doing will only waste their own time. But a very, very select few: they will understand and improve. |
