A simple script but a strange problem

Okay this script is running in a ScreenGUI, It's a local script and the parent of the script is a TextLabel. When I put this script in... script.Parent.Text = "Hi" and I press test>play solo nothing is written. By the way, I used a local script because the ScreenGUI's parent is the player's PlayerGui. I hope I gave enough information and I hope you can help me.

And I don't need to worry about its position and size and transparency because I type it in manually and it does show up.

I figured it out. I tagged it incorrectly and so I learned from this mistake that you can't tag individual value within an object (I think)
