I am learning Lua

I am slowly learning Lua, and I already know the basic. I have looked at millions, or tutorials but every time I start one I zone out because it is boring, and then I attempt to watch videos, and they don't have a clue on what they are talking about, or they are a 5 year old kid, I am looking for a legit teacher, if you are out there let me know.

Metatables are tables about tables. That's the reason I don't understand why we call their functions "metamethods". I mean, they're not methods about methods...
