Hi, Before I describe my issue, I will give you my computer specs, so you will see that the issue is not my computer. OS: Windows 7 Pro 32-bit Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 at 2.4GHz (For those of you that don't know what all that means, it means that its one of the fastest processors you'll ever see.) RAM: 2GBs (Not much, but it works GREAT with the processor.) Ok the issue: This has happened to me twice in a row in the past 7 hours. I have gone into studio, and have made major edits to my place (Each time, I was building for about 3 hours) and then BAM! ROBLOX says "Not Responding" And all my work is lost. Te fact that it goes to the Not Responding screen, is not whats angering me the most. The thing that really angers me, is how poorly made the studio is! It doesn't even try to respond after having an issue!! It just sits here. ROBLOX Fix this issue ASAP, don't release any other features, if you cant make a studio to support them all!!! ~~And no, my place is not infected, nothing from my place has come anywhere close to free models. Its all made by me and my Building team.~~ I have saved the Dump File form the process, anyone know where exactly im support to send that? I want to send it to ROBLOX. Any questions? Feel free to ask..

Hi bambam152, I noticed in the speculations you left out one thing I need, do you have Direct3D and / or OpenGL? That may be a cause of it (although, 99.9% of the time, blocks you from playing at all). Besides that, your 2 GB RAM is still perfect, for ROBLOX only requires 512 MB. The reason Roblox Studio crashes like this is because it does, after so long, will begin to hog all of the processors until it technically "dies" on you, which is why its recommended, by me, that you keep a normal backup of the game on your computer and take breaks periodically to keep it from doing this. This issue 'cannot' be fixed no matter what the admins do. The reason this can be a serious issue is because, if you let this happen too many times, the crashes will slowly degrade your system and can lead to Hard Disc corruption and BSOD, as well as frieing the motherboard from overloading (inadvertently frieing the entire CPU). This seems highly unlikely now, however, it is highly plausible and, evidently, will destroy your data. Steps to Take: 1. Clear off your data: Start Menu > Control Panel > System and Security > (if administered user) "Free up disk space", and THEN go to "Defragment your hard drive." Afterwards, shut down your system and let it revitalize for about 10 minutes. 2. Create a Back-up: Make a specialized area on your desktop to store this backup file of your game. When building, press CTRL + S, from here saving a copy of the game. Close out of ROBLOX Studio. 3. Keeping a Backup Go back to your backup directory and click on the file. This will not load up the game from ROBLOX, but will open but the file from your computer: so to get it onto the actual ROBLOX website will have to be manual, but is very easy to do. Every 5 minutes or so, maybe every 10, press CTRL + S and it will save it and then continue doing what you need or feel like doing with your game. 4. Publication Go to the File tab. From here, you'll want to find "Publish to ROBLOX". Click it, and click "Update". A window will appear and will have your different games listed: click "select" next to the name of the game you wish to update. And guess what? You're done! I hope this was helpful Thanks! -Ben (overkill99) -The Help Guru

Oh, and I will say right now: I love you <3 You are the first person to type an actual report instead of just saying "I have an issue, fix it" and thinking thats enough for someone to help you. Thank-you!! -Ben (overkill99) -The Help Guru

Well, I think you may have misread it. It is a studio crash, it just says "Not Responding" not a computer crash, I have NEVER experienced anything like this, before the past week.

You misread. I didn't say it was a computer crash, I said when ROBLOX Studio doesn't respond: it means the application has crashed. Which, if allowed to occur very often, will corrupt your system and CAUSE system crashes. Also, glad I was able to help! Thanks! -Ben (overkill99) -The Help Guru

I support but only to this part "Te fact that it goes to the Not Responding screen, is not whats angering me the most. The thing that really angers me, is how poorly made the studio is! It doesn't even try to respond after having an issue!! It just sits here."

Try to change your ROBLOX settings in Studio mode and see if lowering the graphical quality will help you in anyway. Even though you have 2GB of RAM, that doesn't mean that eventually programs will crash as ROBLOX can end up taking more memory bandwidth overtime depending on the amount of action in the game. Please post your GPU Also, please post your PSU.
