Roblox is stuck updating.

I'm trying to join a game and all I get is the annoying "Roblox is Updating, please wait." which it isn't. There's no other window that comes up and it makes my browser lock up when it's doing that. What's going on here?

Try restarting your computer, or open task manager and check if there are any other programs running that aren't showing up.

I also just realized it starts a number of Roblox.exe processes and will not uninstall.

@zombieberrie's first post - Not all ROBLOX computer users have access to the Task Manager, such as the people on Macs (I'm not sure what they have as a task-manager thing) and people of lower ranks required to open the task manager (Such as a place at school, where the school technician (AKA the schools only administator) has blocked you from using it.

Same thing happened to a couple people I know. They just uninstalled Roblox then re-installed it and everything was fixed.

I am having the same problem,it will not let me uninstall roblox though,it says "getting the latest roblox...." when it shouldnt even be attempting that if I am uninstalling it. -_-

Wat If It's Not your personal laptop because im Using A School Laptop But Im Using The Same Kind i had last Year and last year i could play roblox jus fine But this year It doesnt let me Play anything, When Im At school i can play roblox and the upgrading thing doesnt show up it jus goes right into the game but when i get home and try to play the upgrading thing comes up and i cant play anything, I let it sit over night before but there was no progress.....i really dnt kno wat to do

Hi,I can understand your situation and it must be very annoying. I presume when you try to uninstall ROBLOX it gets stuck and doesn't uninstall,correct? If so I know how to fix this. Simply run a full scan on your virus protection system and whilst it is scanning the files it should bypass whatever malware is blocking you from uninstalling ROBLOX, Make sure you've already tried to uninstall ROBLOX before scanning because otherwise you'll have to uninstall after the whole scan is complete. (I had google chrome,scan and ROBLOX downloading all at once so it was much slower). I hope you found this helpful,Just remember to reinstall ROBLOX after. Good Day! My ROBLOX is working every like 20 tries to play it, but if I wanna switch quickly, I have to enter one game while im still in another game, that works a little better! if that doesnt work, then try restarting or logging off and log back in and try again, thats what I do! Plzz P.M. Or party me if u have found a better solution. Thank you! :)
