I am completely lost when it comes to scripting I tried the wiki, but it just makes things more confusing. Can someone give me the basics on how to script, in English? |

WINNING! I was just arguing with somebody about this.
Anyway, join the LuaLearners group, they have killer tutorials that I guarantee can teach you how to script. (as I wrote them). |

Yes, because the tutorials on the wiki aren't identical to the one's on Spec-Serv's website. Because they are. And your tutorials on spec-serv don't even touch on the if-elseif-else control structure. There's also a more complete list of issues with your tutorials here:

Read Varp and Stravant's post for the biggest errors. |

Really have you read the whole thing?
By the way, everything varp said was wrong. He didn't read all three and I found all the things he claimed to be missing.
As for stravant, I have no respect for that ego-inflated man. |

I have read all 3. Everything Varp has said does apply. You should respect stravant because:
A) He is a moderator and
B) He also develops parts of the game
Your explanation of end is horrid. If you're going to explain how to use it, you better explain your control structures first (which you don't. There is no mention of if, elseif, else, while, repeat ... until, or for. Those are the control structures in Lua. Basically, they control the language. And you neglected them. |

Really? If my tutorial is so bad why has it successfully taught thousands of people to script. You want me to find those people? Because I can. I bet half of them could easily out-script you because I had to teach them how to use the freaking wiki!
This post PROVES the wiki does not work. In a week he'll be sending me his passing advanced assignment, ready to decode the jibberish of the wiki.
Like it or not, my tutorials work, the wiki DOES NOT. |

And I will never, ever, in a million years develop ANY source of respect for Stravant or the wiki. And stravant, if you read this and ban me, I will get you sacked so fast It's not even funny.
Because I know you're that low that you would do that. |

I also believe this is preliminary to my tutorials (sorry that's a big word, I meant before):
"Please note that these tutorials are designed to be EASY-TO-READ. This means that these tutorials are written in a way that is easily understandable, so proper terminology is not always used." |

@slayer219
The fact is you act like a immature child, threatening mods. Telling us were wrong, overall your arrogant child. You pull out random facts, saying 'your' tutorials taught thousands. Which is a number-I don't see-sigh, you make random guesses and then tell us that they're facts.
You then contiune to state how our tutorials are confusing. LuaLearners tutorials are also confusing! You can't make a perfect tutorial, nor can you teach a lazy kid. The wiki may help others, such as older adults, the LuaLearners may teach little or that might be reversed. They're about the same, but the only thing that makes the wiki more of.. ideal place to go is that it's number of references and pages. We have tons of pages on every object, how to script, and HAND-WRITTEN tutorials from different users.
Now please, get out and learn some respect.
Thanks!

Wiki is advanced language, more like for adults. |
