***This is going to be long. If you don't want to read, don't post.*** Problem: There are many amazing video games out there, like the majority of the Legend of Zelda series, and also Call of Duty: Black Ops. But, what is it that makes these games amazing? Is it the plot? The gameplay? The graphics? A game cannot be perfect without a perfect mixture of all of these factors. However, there's one factor that literally defines what you hear. Music is what sets the mood of a certain area, it's what sets the mood of a level. A single song could easily define an entire area. If only a game where areas could vary from the simplest of suburbs to vast expanses of medieval land had more than ten songs to play. ---------- Solution: Add a SongPart. ---------- Before you reply, read the rest of the post. The last thing I need is people saying, "NO ROBLOX WILL GET SUED AND GO OUT OF BUSINESS, NOOB. GET OFF THE FORUMS." The SongPart will work like this: Select a brick, any brick. When you select it, a sidebar will appear (like for the Terrain tools). When you click on the "Create Song" button (it'd be a musical note) you would be able to access the Create Song Window. THE CREATE SONG WINDOW: It would be a Mario Paint-esque window that pops up when you click on the "Create Song" button. You'll see a treble and bass clef, with choices on whether to make it 4:4 or 3:4. You'd also find different Roblox symbols, each of which represents a different sound. There will also be a question mark on one of the corners which explains how the Create Song window works. It would explain each of the sounds, how to place the notes to create a song, and how to integrate it into your place best. It would work exactly like Mario Paint, except with a bass clef as well as a treble. If you don't know what Mario Paint is, open a new tab right now and Google it. SOUNDS/VOICES: *Snare drum *Strings *Bass *Xylophone *Bells *8-bit beep *Brass *Choir *Some of the sounds already on Roblox (i.e. rocket, slingshot, bullet, etc.) More will be added on or taken away later. RULES AND HOW THEY WOULD WORK: *No making places based specifically on the song you made. Simply put, a place with a single brick and music coming from it would not be allowed. Clubs or dance places with user-created music would be okay, but NOT a place with a single brick and music coming from it. *Reproducing copyrighted material is fine, mainly because there won't be enough sounds to actually make it sound like anything copyrighted. If you disagree, go on YouTube and search "Mario Paint *enter song here*." Go on. I'll wait. Oh good, you're back. Anyway, did you see all the obviously popular songs that some major label hasn't convinced/paid off YouTube to delete? Exactly. More rules will be added with later updates. ---------- **OTHER STUFF/ADD-ONS TO THE ORIGINAL IDEA** One would be able to sell one's songs in the Catalog, or just leave it public domain. Not everyone is going to become the next Mozart, and some people just need general ambiance for their places. The songs could be sold by anyone (it *is* available in Studio, no?) for Tickets or Robux. **BENEFITS:** Roblox would become a brighter place, with better-quality games and better-quality music. The general public will have a better response to the game if they were to hear a new-age song in Solar Conquest, or perhaps generic Christmas music in a holiday place. This will lead to more, potentially older, potentially more experienced ponies playing Roblox, which leads to better-quality games. And so the cycle continues, ad infinitium, until the end of time. Not to mention the Roblox economy would get a boost from the extra spending for the next biggest Roblox hit. Read and critique. Signatures are so mainstream>

"Grammar please, then people would listen to you." Be intelligent, and then maybe your criticism will be accepted. ~Ohne dich bin ich nichts~

Oh, and I forgot to say; support. This is a nice idea, and atleast it won't have words in it so that people won't make inappropiate language in it.

Support. I'd love to try to be able to recreate some of the Minecraft instrumentals. c:
