(I made this out of boredom.)
This is a grammar page assigned to get you to understand the meanings of "there," "their," and "they're."
"There" is a word used to descibe a certain place.
"There is my jacket!" "Are you coming over there?"
"Their" is a word to describe ownsership from some other people.
"Their jacket is over here." "Their hat is gone."
"They're" is a contraction of the words "they" and "are." So you just substitute the contraction with the words the contraction it is made up of to figure out if it's proper language or not.
"They're over here." "They're coming over here to get their jacket."
Now, using the things you learned, fill in the blanks with the proper words.
1. ______ sweater is right here, on the carpet.
2. Why do we have to do over ______?
3. ______ coming again, to pick up the sweater.
4. Nope, your coat is over ______.
5. When people practice long enough, they get good at ______ skills.
6. How many times do I have to tell you, it is _______?
(Again, I made this out of boredom.)
