A peace symbol is actually representing Christ on the cross, and the cross is upside down and Christ's arms are dangling. VAK is as 'evil' as any clan or group of people can pretend to be.

The peace signal was actually first used in Britain in the 50s as a symbol of nuclear disarmament. The peace symbol is the flag signs for "N" and "D" together, in a circle. If I'm correct, Vak is missing a piece of the peace symbol besides the circle.
