Awesome, I like the general size and layout. It needs a lot of polishing and detail (Which I'm sure you"ll do), but for the most part it's a good start. Try not to leave many open areas. Crowded maps are always better for sword fighting. |

I seriously would like to develop this; I bet Aerideyn and Jacobthescientist would too. All three of us were accomplished front page creators.
me and jacob helped co-develop "Tests" by Aerideyn... which if you recall was recently exploited on the front page by Extremespeed500. Quite baffling. Quite... rude if you ask me.

Darwin12, I've already developed the system, GUI and some modes. Some maps are in the making as well, if you'd like to help with maps, by all means. I will consult you and your friends if I need any advice. Please do not take the idea for your own, I spent weeks on the idea, I'll let you help me continue to build on it and help with maps if you wish. |

Neon, would you mind if I made a game similar to this, just less game modes, with ranged weapons and kinda like a sequel with morphs set in the 1500s. |

I'd prefer is you didn't, I'd be more open to allowing you to do it if I had already released mine. I spent weeks forming the idea so it can give the player the best experience, make them stay, purchase content, etc. So, I will allow you to make a game similar (use some of my ideas), if you allow me to finish mine and release it before you start developing yours. I think that's fair. |

None of the current modes have plans for moving people. I'm sure some will be added after release that will though. |

I'm building a different map now. I've abandoned the old one...Not enough planning put into it. The map I am now working on will be better. I'm planning to add a town square, tall buildings with nice rooves, an enclosure made out of branches surrounding animals (if I can find a mesh), a market and a church. |

A little update for all who are wondering.
The GUI has been mapped out and designed. I've made it user friendly and easy to understand for new users (both to ROBLOX and the game). It's going to have a lot of little things (almost everything will have MouseEnter and MouseLeave events in them) to make it appeal to the user. Tomorrow I will be designing the images for the GUI's, finishing making them, then making them function with the general game system.
On a second note, I've updated the data management system so it uses tables instead of NumberValues, BoolValues and StringValues. This just makes it neater, and easier to edit.

I'm trying to determine what you should be able to bring into each match.
Weapon - A sword, long sword, dagger, spear, etc.
Buff - +10% Speed, +5% Defence, etc.
Please pick on of the following:

I believe that you should have Weapon-Weapon-Buff
But, you can replace a Weapon with an Ability, such as sprint for 5 seconds or heal 50 health.
This would allow players to create a more versatile, creative and unique class that suits their plays type perfectly, like someone who runs fast and ambushes their enemy with a quick dagger, or somebody who uses a large spear and sword to smash their enemies. |

I want the players to be able to switch between weapons, as they need to in battle. I think I'm going to do 2 weapons, no buffs. However some/most weapons will grant you buffs after you equip them.
I've be making GUI images, but I cant actually make the GUI since GUI in studio is broken. I've herd a fix will be released sometime this week. I'll be in the meantime. I think I'll work on the leveling system.
On a side note, if anyone has any retextures of swords (any sword mesh) that they would like to submit for me to use, let me know! I'll be taking a day to make as many as I can and put them into the game, so if you have one I'd love to see it. |
