Okay, sometimes, you need to go have breakfast, take out your dog, grab a snack, do the laundry, but you don't want anything happening to you in a game, so, I though of an idea to prevent something happening to you while your gone.
--How it works
If you click the Menu button, it will have the list of items, and there will be a new thing called "Start AFK". Now, when you click that, it will start a timer, visible on the screen, counting up to 20 minutes, which is the time until auto-kick. When you click it, it will take your character, and put it into Lighting. It will then wait until you click "Stop AFK", then causing your character to appear on the spawn, with the Starter-Tools, and the same health. If your time runs out, you are auto-kicked. Also, if you are AFK for 5 minutes, you will automatically be put into the AFK system, but with 15 minutes except 20, to count for the time allotted.
--How it is/is not abuseable
Now, with those FF AFK suggestions, they have the ability for you to storm a base, click AFK, and you are prevented from taking damage. However, this stops that because you are put into Lighting, and then when you stop it, you are put back to a spawn, with starter tools. The reason with the starter-tools, is so you can't go into a base, grab the flag, click AFK, then stop it so you spawn with the flag. Now, it can be abuseable because you can be in a tight situation, like 30 guns pointed on you, and you can just become AFK and stuff, that's the only loophole I can find. Another loophole, is that when you are in Lighting, your camera is free to roam. So, to fix that, your camera will be locked, so you can't spy on the enemy.
--Auto-Kick suggestion
When you get auto-kicked, you will see a "You have been disconnect for being ......". Now, under that, there should be a "Rejoin Server", so we don't have to try and remember someone we were playing with or look through every server.
Yes, I know the AFK stuff is scriptable, so don't say "Scriptable", because I can script it myself. I am suggesting this to improve off of all the other AFK ideas, trying to remove all the loopholes. Please reply with questions/other loopholes/ways to solve loopholes.

Why not just take out the timer thing? I'd be pretty mad to come back 20 minutes and 1 second later to find out I've been disconnected. Sure, the fact that you have unlimited time to do whatever would cause server traffic, and possible lag, is a negative impact, but the suggestion is to improve the community to where it would be beneficial.
Or possibly set the timer yourself, and if your not back in time, the "Re-join Server" option would be helpful. Alas, what if someone took that one spot in the server?

Then, you will have to wait until a server-spot opens. But, I like your custom-time setting, I could add that in V 1.2

Just make it so it can be disabled on places by the owner's discretion. The same should be done with the reset button, in my opinion.
Also the reason that it being scriptable is a problem is that Roblox has already implemented a way to have it in, and it only wastes time they could be spending on more important things, like lighting that has more than two brightness levels at a time, fixing exploits, and optimizing their engine. |

The problem is ROBLOX doesn't support AFK-ing. And if you leave the server, you lose your points/money/etc.
I thought I was dreaming about MC, until I punched a tree. |

How would this break any games? It does almost nothing except keep people from messing

This will start those exploiter and hacker again to leave servers open for a long time.
Also why is it so bad getting kicked from the game for being afk for a long time? |

Like I said, it still applies the Auto-Kick into this, so servers can't stay on forever. Also, if you decide to press the Rejoin Button, it will see if it is full, or if the server is gone. So, the servers can not stay up forever.

I believe I heard a while ago that the roblox devs were working on a way to sortof "auto save" so you have the same stuff next time you join a server; so this suggestion may not seem valid to them. |
