ROBLOX should make it so free models are for veiwing only and if you want a script, you have to re-write it.

@DXPower It would make some people mad, but then decent good builders would have there game posted up. @burntmarshmallow Kind of, they could veiw the models but they will not be saved to their models or the game. If there is a script that they want though they have to re-write it.

@Block Well... I know the problem that you're trying to solve. Copying and taking credit right? I totally respect that but it would kill the whole purpose of "free" models.

Did I ever imply stupidity? No, I simply stated, that they are there for anyone to use. If people are so concerned about things being copied or "abused", don't make your model public.

I agree and disagree with this idea. Reason I agree: People need to learn to build and script themselves, that's the point of ROBLOX; to be open and express yourself, build, etc... Reason I disagree: This may be discouraging to some people trying to figure out what to build, and possibly discourage the people making the model to build and script. Either way, it wouldn't neccesarily benefit or demolish the ROBLOX community.

Disagreed. Free models helped me learn to build when I was a noob. Beign able to set them in my place, take them apart, rebuild, that taught me detail.

No support. This would especially effect people who incorporate others' ideas (with their permission of course) into their games. This would also affect retexture hobbyists, because most retextures people make don't come from their own collection; it comes from people who buy them and turn them into a freemodel. Another problem arises, similar to the first one, except reciprocated. People who make a model to contribute to a game, the creator likes the model, he/she tries to take it, and they can't; they have to construct one of their own from scratch.
