Do you already know anything about scripting? I could try to teach you the basics in my spare time. I won't get too advanced though... mainly because if we are at all alike, once you learn the basics, the rest will be easy. :P

Look for a good RPG kit. I'd recommend the one by Kitteh6660. I haven't seen if the game runs correctly with the GUI's inside deleted, but I'd try to do so just so you don't have people saying "GAME COPIER".
