Every time I try to join a game it loads everything until it gets to "WAITING FOR CHARACTER" It does that and puts me in a spectator mode. After a while just says "This Game has Shut down" Does this for every single online game. I can only play solo games. This happened to me after an update on Roblox. Please give me your suggestions. |

It's the new site layout! This site layout has been making my internet non-responsive. I hate this layout. The toolbar following the page is annoying! I liked the other ROBLOX better! |

I liked the other Roblox better to I read about your problem and it's because of the new update. I hope Roblox takes note of these forums and try to fix it with an update restoring the old lay out. |

Yep, are you experiencing lag on the site by any chance, when you scroll, and freezing after leaving a game? |

Now that I don't have. I think this update did different things to different people. I heard one other person with a super fast computer is also lagging terribly also. This update gave many negative effects. |

I have been having a slightly different problem. So I start a game the screen darkens and tries to load. A new blank window opens but in a few seconds, it closes leaving the screen partially darkened until I hit cancel. I tried again and again but the same problem occurs. Is it the website, servers etc. or am I doing something wrong. |

Hi. Same 'waiting for character' now for 2 days! Game shuts down after 3 -4 mins. Treid uninstalling the re-starting Roblox with anew download, no better, this is the same on all 4 PCs in my house....has technical got any answers for us please?? |

I heard that this problem is being reported a lot so maybe ROBLOX will fix it soon. |

I have it, and these solutions don't work:
1. Using a different account.
2. Reinstalling ROBLOX.
3. Playing as a Guest.
4. Using Internet Explorer or Chrome instead.
5. Shutting the computer down.
6. Turning the firewall off.
Personally, I think it is caused by the games relevance update, as whenever I join a game the list is not affected. I think that they should fix it by tomorrow, as it is a major problem. |

It usually has nothing to do with the browser or ROBLOX.
Often, you need to just reboot your router so you get a new IP address.
Or you can try getting a side host at [dyndns][1].
