Alrighty, let's cut to the chase. There are plenty of popular groups out there. Some are war groups, some aren't. Regardless, there are bound to be haters. Also, those haters, if they really want to waste enough of their life, will make a spam account, join the group, spam up about 500 pages of group wall, and then leave. I am proposing a few suggestions that will help with this.
1. Floodcheck. Just like on the forums here, there should be a floodcheck of at LEAST 15 seconds before you can post again. This would make spammers have to slow down a lot. (A spammer I had could post about 3-5 spams into one second.) Also, if the floodcheck trips too many times in an allotted period of time, say 5 times in 90 seconds, maybe the user should get a warning. If he trips that warning too many times in another period of time, say about 5 times in 20 minutes, he gets exiled from the group. Maybe as an addition to this, if a user posts more than 100 posts in 20 minutes, he's likely to be a spammer. The group should auto-exile him at that point.
2. "Delete all posts by this user" button. This button makes spam easy to clean up. Essentially, the idea says it all. You press the button, and all posts by the user are deleted.
3. "IP Exile" button. Essentially, this is like an IP ban, but on a smaller scale. You press the button, the person and any of his alternate accounts are prevented from joining the group. This is for the worst cases of spammers frequenting the wall day after day after day... etc. If this happens enough, or if someone else is just really annoying you by joining the group with alternate accounts to spam, you should be able to IP exile him. This would not allow them to rejoin, unlike normal exile. However, I can think of a problem to this. What if a family member of the spammer is in the same group? You should be able to "un-exile" certain people belonging to the IP, if that happens.
Well, thanks for reading this far.
tl;dr: Go read a book (preferably a novel) and then come back here and read this again. This is worth your time. |

Maybe some feedback, too? |

This would totally clear up some group wall clutter...
But still, having like hundreds or thousands of people to block would be silly nonetheless.

Thank you.
C'mon, everyone else out there. I know you have an opinion on this. I'd like to hear it. |

Your idea is great, Mario. But what about people out there who are really sincere and active on the group wall that don't spam? What could they do about it? |

there is something like it you exile a person on the group wall and it gives you an option to delete all their posts. |

@Gordon
That's simple enough... You don't use the buttons on them. :u |

Support. Still, on suggestion #3 how would ROBLOX know all the alts of the user? |
|
|
@warpon
By IP. If an alt tries to join and he has the same IP as the originally IP exiled account, it will be auto-exiled. |

Very nice. This might help stop the large amounts of alts that join my group every week ._. |

More bump.
Everyone but one or two people has supported so far. :D |
