I, iAreButterz and my amazing friend that is a boss at scripting, jrf2112, are currently working on a step up RPG of ROBLOX.. The RPG has no story, as it is just a adventure game, and adventures shouldn't have to follow what the creator wants you to do, right? It's all about you! The player! Whats the name of this "RPG"? Well there's the problem right now, we, unfortunately, have not found a agree-able name on the rpg, so we decided to let the ROBLOX community answer that question! Well how do you suggest that? Simply pm me, ReceivingBacons. titling it "RPG Suggestion" Leave the name you requested in the text below. Also leave us a suggestion of what you want to see in the game! Whats our goals? Our goal is to completely blow all the other RPG's out of the water, by featuring tons of new stuff that other RPGS lack. Where are you starting? The BETA will have these features. - Character Customization GUI and Character stand. - 6 skills including: Mining, Smithing, Attack, Strength, Defense, Health. Which will level up by gaining experience. - A Very nicely built map. Our promises: When the game is finished we plan to have 20+ skills and a HUGE map, packed with action packed quests, player training areas, random dungeons/raid-able towns. The game-play will be smooth, and will have items like helmets,shoulder pads, shields, plate legs, chain body, plate body, swords(different kinds that affect damage and speed, also enchantments and two-handed swords) We also are going to monitor the game on a DAILY BASES. So every day we will brainstorm of something new, and eventually add it into the game. (They will most likely be member-only features) Will there be a members service? Yes, there will be a member service, This is how it works - Using data persistence, we can keep track of the time a player has owned a shirt, being able to do that, we can use shirts on time-based methods. Where am I going with this? Well instead of a one-time payment membership like every other RPG, we're going by months. What?? That's going to be expensive!! That's dumb!! Actually, no, it is not. The other RPG's only do it as a one time thing because after they publish the RPG, and get it "popular" they don't update the game, all they do is fix stuff. So what's your point? My point is buying membership on a monthly bases is a way of rewarding me and jrf2112 for the DAILY work we will put into the game. Ok, that's not so bad. No, its not, also members are going to have cool features! Like special items, more skills, more quests, different areas, and lots of other cool features! I'll put them into a list once the RPG is finished! The Membership rates will go like this: 1 month = 50 tix or 10 robux. 3 month = 150 tix or 30 robux 6 month = 300 tix or 60 robux 12 month = 600 tix or 120 robux liftime membership = 2,500 robux You might ask "How are we suppose to play this game! It sounds like a ton of bricks, which equals lag!" Well, using a very clever way of using a special script that loads bricks only when you are in a certain radius of them, there will only be a few hundred bricks loaded in your area, but there are going to be other players also feeding off that script, so it depends on how many players, where they are, and what they're doing to depend on your lag. It also requires you to have a decent CPU. What's the expected release date? The release date for the official game is not decidable, as we have SO many features to add, but, the expected release date for the BETA is somewhere between May 7th and June 31st. Have questions? I know. But I don't want many people buying it. I don't expect you to. The release date in not known. We are working hard to get this thing finished. The alpha will barely have anything, but only the key components. The beta is the one we are to pre-release. No date it set for completion.

You know, this sounds a lot like a ROBLOX implementation of a certain game that begins with "R" and ends with "unescape." If you can make a successful side-by-side free/premium setup in ROBLOX with monthly fees, I'm all for it. How are you going to do monthly fees though? Microtransactions in ROBLOX aren't supported and rebuying shirts is complicated to detect and risky when dealing with customer faults. Good luck.

Buying shirts is probably the way to go, LPG. The system will work like this: When you buy a shirt for a certain period of time, there is a script that recognizes what kind of shirt you are wearing. It has a table of all the shirts and their time. There will be a date, set in DataPersistance, that tells the game when your membership expires. You can wear a lot of shirts, and it will increase the end time. I personally don't see anything wrong with shirts, except maybe confusion of what shirts you have activated.

RS is one of our inspirations, but we are trying to add a Skyrim feel of do whatever you want, go wherever you please. It's going to be a lot more immersive.

We are using influences of many Roleplay/adventure games. RScape - Skills, Membership. (Maybe Items) Skyrim - Combat and actions I could go into more detail, but let's stick to suggestions and comments.

If you could post the membership, I want to see how creative this can get. Oh and wahts the part that remembers the date? I have never seen date records on ROBLOX. ALMOST a copy of Free Realms, don't you think? ~thedestroyer115, the most helpful builder!~

Shields will be included. The tools are a custom system, different from roblox's. So, you can hold multiple tools. This includes shields. You can press a key to go into defense mode, where you hold your shield up to block. You can also have it push enemies back with another key. These will be bind-able.

We arent loading individual parts. Its all in chunks. Much easier on the CPU.
