Some of them might not be cold-hearted at all. Some might actually care for their clients, while some are doing it for their selfish desires. They exploit human hate and anger to get what they want, They use human emotions to their advantage and use their fear against them.
Unfortunately normal people like us are completely gullible to their tricks. And both sides are trying to look for the last of the contracts, many people were murdered and the population of the world has been reduced by a large number. Now the two sides are now desperate to re-organize, as some of their members have betrayed them in their selfish quest for money.
