Okay, the Yankees kinda win the title of most historic baseball team, hands down, you can't beat the Bambino, Dimaggio, Berra, Gehrig, and countless others. Obviously, I'm a Cardinals fan, so this opinion is obviously biased, but I think that it's a reasonable argument. We have the second most World Series wins with 11, as for age, we were founded in 1882, and look at all the legends that have played with us. He isn't the same outside of St. Louis, and it isn't just a slump year, a slump year for Albert would be two homeruns in April, none is just plain awful.

Albert will get better. hes gonna get out of the slump. hes still learning the new pitchers and ballparks. its a lot different in the AL than the NL. am i surprised its taking this long? absolutly, but he we'll get going any time.
