What's the best way to secure two non-cancollide bricks together (in this case, a lightbar to the top of a car roof)? I've been trying to make a standard weld work, but they keep falling through each other. :\ My brain's too bogged-down in the scale of the current project to let me think straight it would seem, help me out?

Standard welds should work... Use Motor6D. ~thedestroyer115, the most helpful builder!~

YOu have to weld the roof to the rest of the car.

Your welds should hold the parts together if the welded surfaces are touching. Or for vehicles use Crazyman32's auto weld script. It is available in free models and welds the parts together and then removes itself. This weld script will hold parts that are CFramed into each other, or not even touching, together.

What you do: 1. Studio 2. Move tool set to 1/5th of a stud 3. Make sure Manual Joints are on 4. Drag it down onto the roof of the car, you should see blue or white lines where the two parts touch. If you see red, weld the light bar's bottom and repeat. 5. Test by hitting Play; hit the Rewind Button if it went through. (ScriptingLV is currently ObnoxiouslyLow.)
