In a magazine I read it said that the author of the Diary of a Wimpy kid books, Jeff Kinney, is making a movie of them! Sounds cool what do you guys think?

A movie would be so cool! The books are totally AMAZING!!!!! I hope they make a movie, but ive actually not red the last straw, is it even out?

EH It's to Childish to be ubsessed with... I mean he wrote the book for 4-9 year old it's enjoyable but nothing to go crazy about and a movie... Thats Pathetic you don't have the talent to keep writing but then just turn it into a movie? He might make the SAME mistake Chistopher Paolini made. Turn a Book into a movie before the series has ended or while your writing another book into the series. He's probally think "Well they're experts they must know what they're doing". Then he hands over everything to the director and then he messes the whole thing up. Sorry but in my opainian is that. 1. It's more of a kids book 2. Making a movie from a kids book for teens is to much of a risk... 3. Not paying attetion to what the directors doing... Messes the whole idea up 4. Paying to much money for everything but getting less money from the movie... RATING: 2/10 Horrible It's hard to predict the future but still, You can't do that with a kids book.
