I really don't want to have to work around the new Baseplate. It gets old. |
|

There's no rules saying you have to.
To put in the 'old baseplate' then just follow theese simple rules.
-Open roblox studio
-Go into edit mode
-Then near the top of the screen, you'll see a moutain icon, that there is the terriain genator.Click that
-After that click 'reset'
-Last thing to do is to open up toolbox,or insert then just place a brick into the game, making sure it's anchored. |

Thank you, but that is just one of the workarounds I was talking about. We should at least have it as an option for the default. |

Well i think the reason roblox did this was to (somewhat if u don't no studio) 'force' people to see what it's like to use terrian.
Besides theres no point in making something for about 3-6 months if people don't use it,even if it means using slighty...'in your face' methods to do so.
Anyway, maybe people will try to discover what studio is like. |

Why don't you just open a new place from studio? You don't HAVE to open the starter map, if you arn't a beginner anymore.
If you open a new place from studio you are free to put whatever you want in. |

Really? I see it on S&I every day posted atleast twice. It's nothing new and nothing I care about. Is it that hard to delete Terrain and add a anchored brick? |
|
|
1. Click the terrain button on studio.
2. Click reset.
3. Place a brick and stretch it across the map.
4. Anchor it. |

All of you are stupid.
They aren't forcing you to build with it, just use Studio. |
