The ability to edit a post would be useful. If you forget something, edit it instead of posting again. In an RP if you have a players but you will need to edit it to put a player in every time someone joins in. If you get a content deleted post then you cannot edit it.

I remember reading that the coding was somehow unchangable for the forums, and that is the reason ROBLOX has never updated them. This may just be a rumor, but it seems plausible.

No, it's something called "Preview" looks for your mistakes there. Editing the post would could by pass the mods. Say I posted a spam thread an get hate posts. I will easily change the the thread to a supporting idea, the mods will say hmmm, it's just a simple thread. See why? Use preview and take time to read your post.

Yes I did, spammers and trolls will get over from bans when they edit the post and changed their subject.
