I have an idea on how Roblox can implement cemment deletion. I know that there is a problem that it can be abused. So how about there be a rating system for your place, kinda how youtube works. Also since that can be abusable, have it so that the person needs to play at least 10 mins (or as long as neccessary) in the place before they can rate. If they lag out from a badly made place then they also get to rate the place. This way people holding grudges have to play for a bit (which they probably won't bother to do) before they can dislike a place.

I guess ten minutes because i don't want people to just sit in a game for 3 minutes. ten minutes is long enough to rate and peoples short attention span/ easily boredness will keep them from spam downvoting.

"cemment deletion" Who do you think your are? Chuck Norris? How about you wait 60 seconds.

I said comment deletion idea. Its just a suggestion. Also the reason why I put 10 min in the first place is cause the haters and your enemies can bother to join your game for 10 seconds but if it was for 10 mins or so, they'd wouldn't bother. Unless the person really hates you guts or something.

Ten minutes is a reasonable amount of time. It should guarantee a good feel of the game (unless the game is really complex, in which case, the ten minutes is how much time the creator has to get you hooked enough to pursue the complexity). Sure, not every legitimate player will play for ten minutes, but why shouldn't rating places require an effort?

How does a rating system have anything to do with deleting comments? ~~ My mouse is bipolar. D: ~~

You mean why should rating places require effort? Its the same thing as the comment abuse. A majority of the people playing roblox aren't knowledgeable enough to responsibility use roblox's features. For example if someone gets killed in a sword fighting game and doesn't like what's happening then the person can just go dislike the killer's place regardless of how good it is not (Implying that the rating system in use). That's why there should be some effort involved to get accurate ratings.

Alex if you read it carefully I said since people can abuse the comment deletion. Ex Keeping all the good comments deleting all the bad. That's why there's a rating system. Its to help get accurate results.

Yet, the idea has nothing to do with comments. It's about ratings. It's hard to understand when you make it seem like the thread is going to be about comments, then you start talking about ratings. ~~ My mouse is bipolar. D: ~~

I agree with Alex. > I have an idea on how Roblox can implement cemment deletion. What you explained gives an idea on how Roblox can implement a rating system.

Well I'm saying in order for the comment deletion can be in effect the rating system should also be go along with it. Pretty much its an attempt at a solution for a comment deletion system. Srry if you thought the title was misleading. :\

But it has nothing to do with comment deleting. At all. ~~ My mouse is bipolar. D: ~~

Dude just read it. I said that in order to prevent comment deletion abuse (If there was comment deletion) there should be a rating system. Stop flaming and leave if you have nothing productive to say. -.- I've told you a bunch of times already too..

"flaming" I wasn't flaming. I was expressing confusion. If you want this to turn into flaming, I'd be more than obliged to do so. ~~ My mouse is bipolar. D: ~~

I was kinda trying to perfect my idea of in a sense voting for deletions of comments.

I think comments are nessessary but ones that don't belong, Spam/Chainmail should be able to be deleted.

Exactly, the idea of Youtube's way of commenting integrated into our comments. You can only vote a comment as spam, you can't vote a comment as good or bad, just as spam.
