I'm sick of things being bumped that I haven't posted on in forever. Please. Just put like a checkbox next to it. Also, give the thread creator the ability to lock the thread (AFTER people post on it.) so it doesn't keep getting bumped.

Like, there are literally only FOUR threads on there that I have posted on today on there. The others got knocked off by things like "Rate the user above you lawl."

A ligitiment reason for someone to be against it... err.... Nope. Got nothing :D I still have ONE post I have from OT, which is "Count to 100,000". Keeps croping back up. Full support. Not on the second one though. People would just go "Horrible crappy idea here" (Greedy morons right here. About 5-6) Poster: OMG! I HAVE SO MANY SUPPORTERS! NO DISLIKERS! *Closes thread* -Oh, it's nothing special, JUST MY BASS CANNON Skrillex: Orchestral suite Cave Johnson;Sgt Major Johnson

Support. I spent an entire DAY on the "Forum Games" section, and it's come back to haunt me ever since.

Hm. I think I support the first one. The second one would be nice, but too many abusers would overuse it. An expansion of that idea would be a "Support versus no support" bot that would tally each vote. Once a thread has been declared a supported thread (meaning majority have supported), a notification is sent to Roblox entailing the S/I, its owner and everything with it. This way, Roblox will read the S/I and implement it quicker than it already does. Also, it will lock down a thread that has no support (negative results) and will discard the thread. Tallying will not be shown since it may persuade a user to vote one way or another. Also, the number of required votes (+ and - ) before the thread is locked down or is sent to Roblox will be set by the author while s/he write the starting post. So what do you think? I do not intend to steal the limelight, I just spawned the idea while thinking about your ideas. Thank you for the notion! Superioran has a point there, but I still support both ideas. I've seen some threads being closed after people posted on there, I have no idea how they did that though. Yeah, good ideas.

@Super Abused how? I'm confused. You can start out a thread with no replies, so why can't we lock our own threads.
Superioran

@Pie... when a user thinks they are finally "cool" or "popular," they will lock down the thread as proof that they are hipsters when in reality the user is probably really lame and the rest of the repliers are stating negative comments... Locking threads at any point as long as you are the owner is fine, but really is only necessary for C&G threads.... That way when you are writing the rules or guides and do not want feedback, but accidentally forgot to click "Do not allow replies," you can still lock it down quickly. On the other side abusers would use it in the sense where it is a Forum Game (i.e. Fight For the Last Post), the owner can shut down the thread and lock it at any point... thus "cheating" the game of it's purpose. Hope this clarifies some miscommunications... -Superioran. "If you're not first, you're last!" -- Talladega Nights: A Tale of Ricky Bobby.

@123, and Super, You know the thread would sink like the Titanic if you put a lock on it, right? If there are negative comments, then it will just go away. No mods will see it, and the idea will be lost.
