roblox wont open

i am using a windows 7 and my computer will not open anything roblox. if i try to play a game, it tells me roblox is updating, nonthing else. roblox studio or the play roblox icon wont do a thing when i click on it. is the whole game updating or is somthing wrong with what im using?

What are you using to open your servers ? Google Chrome/Firefox/ or Internet Explorer ??

update roblox? i tried that. it didnt work for me. tonight im going to install IE9 and try again. bye bye favorites bar :(
