They agree to set up a Mutual Protection Pact and open up new trade routes with you for the year of this treaty. Predicted effects is a raise in profits due to the new trade routes. And increased protection for your nation considering Germany is within the Top 20 most powerful nations. (When interacting with nations, keep an eye on how their leader acts. They each have their own personalities and ways they get involved with the world.) Are there any goals you wish to aim for accomplishing in the future? US elections have started up, if you wish you can play a part in financially supporting one of the candidates. (This will secure a good relationship if your selected candidate wins, as long as you played a good part in his victory during the elections) The chance to hold such influence in a world power such as this can come in handy later on. Do you wish to influence the elections? ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

Running with the Democratic Party is Michal Szymanski, promising that by the end of his term, the US will be on the road to recovery from their increasingly-growing debt while keeping major taxes low and without mixing up current policies. Running with the Republican Party is Tatyana Singh. Plans to try to find immediate solutions to the debt craze by re-organizing current polices and spending rates. You can interview either (or both) of them to determine who you would like to fund. ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

Michael first. How do you plan to have the U.S. on the road to recovery? What will you do in the first 100 days? What will you do with peace relations? Finally, What will your biggest goal be, and how do you hope to accomplish it?

"I plan to bring the U.S. on the road to recovery by first eliminating the debt, and then using the new finance acquired to bring the economy back onto it's feat. First I shall eliminate the bush tax cuts for the wealthy, but keep them in place for the middle and lower class. After that I plan on instituting a Carbon tax, so all businesses and people are charged according to what carbon emissions they release into the air. This will encourage self-sufficiency with energy and will raise a good amount of money in the beginning of the tax, which can then be used to make sure the U.S. can transfer to nonrenewable energy sources as well. With all the money from the carbon tax, the nonrenewable energy in place, and the extra money from getting rid of the tax cuts on the wealthy I'd predict that both the U.S. treasury and economy will be back in place where it belongs within a matter of years. And getting it back on the right track, is by far my most important goal. By the end of it many citizens will most likely be self-sufficient as well, which in turn is also good for the economy. Once money starts pouring in and the economy is fixed, I plan on doubling the amount of money put into foreign aid, which I hope in turn increases the popularity of the U.S. worldwide." ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

Now, for the other person, Tatyana. What will you do in the first 100 days? What major re-organizations will there be? What kind of change in policies? What are you going to do with peace relations? and, finally, what do you want to do to your own citizens?

"For my first few days I plan on simply analyzing the situation, of how far the debt is, where it lies, and finding solutions to it. After that I plan to re-adjust the taxes currently in place. I am looking to possibly try to gain some more money to fix the debt by looking to other countries for trade routes, which I also hope shall increase the relations with foreign nations as well. And i do not want to interfere in the citizen's lives, but would hope that they would be willing to come together and endure these harsh times as one while we fix them on the road to recovery." ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

Erm..perhaps you'd want to learn about how much elections actually cost to take part in. So a donation that little will make a very tiny impact on the new president XD ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

Since candidates try to get a budget normally ranging from 1-8 billion you'd have to donate millions of dollars to leave any impression on them, or to even really help them at all for that matter. =P

Very legitimate. So legitimate Tatyana won't need money from anyone else, and can retire whenever she wants, cause I've never heard of an election costing that much XD How about you just pick 'low' 'medium' or 'high' =P ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~

(Sorry =P Attempting to keep up with all my online things in the middle of regents can be a bit difficult. Excuse my pace until tomorrow afternoon please. Last regents is tomorrow =D) Your adviser looks quite nervous about how you're planning to dump a high amount of money into a US election. "Mr.President if I may, this money could very well go to helping our own nation grow, or giving aid to those suffering from disaster all around the world. Our populace might not be happy with you pouring money into a US election to gain popularity with it's new leader." Your advisers says. "However if you are certain you wish to do this, we should at least make sure you picked the one with the most chance of winning. Shall I get you some statistics to see whom is most likely to win this election? I can have them within the hour." ~Deutsche Phönix~ ~Ein-Geflügelt Phönix~
